The Dragon Vale

Welcome to Aenaroth. A realm of great power and mysteries. With Magic coursing through the lands, dragons and other such mythical beasts soared through the skies and dominated the land. Thus the realm was known by another name, that of The Dragon Vale. But then, the Portals began to open, and humanity surged into the realm. Through the Gateway Nexus, many have arrived, and a budding civilization has been born.

Aenaroth | Forums | Discord

Aenaroth is lead by a regional government, consisting of the Founder as the Lord of the Vale, acting to keep the region safe, and the Steward, who maintains a cabinet of people to help him lead the region as an Executive government.

There is a citizen legislature, open to any citizens of the region, with an elected head known as the Speaker of the Vale. It is here that the fate of the realm can be decided, through not blades or spears, but through the mighty pen and paper.

A darkness is corrupting the other realms by using the portals, and so the Dragon Knights of Aenaroth have taken to fighting the dark presence, cleansing it's darkness from any realm that it may reach for. Though they have already began to appear alongside other realms warriors, the Dragon Knights are unknown to outsiders. They serve to protect Aenaroth, fighting the darkest beasts, and protecting the freedom of other realms.

Hey there Dusky! This looks pretty cool, you clearly put a large amount of work into this concept. I'm so glad to see you back too! I wish you the best of luck with Aenaroth <3~

Question though: are evil raiders such as myself allowed to join, even if just to chill? :unsure:

Thanks. I'm glad with how it's turning out.

As for if raiders can join... well of course they can. The only thing they're not able to participate in is the Dragon Knights of Aenaroth, unless they decide to renounce their raiding ways

The Dragon Knights of Aenaroth Join the Fray

The portal in Draconia was stable. Through it, great concentrations of darkness could be felt, as if it were a lingering sickness. Two brave Dragon Knights of Aenaroth stood before the glowing energies, blades in hand and spells on their mind.

Thus it was that Red Dusk, Lord of the Vale, and a fellow brave Knight, Daemon Wrath, stood firm, holding the portal to the realm infested with the overpowering weight of darkness. With dim communication, the Dragon Knights had contacted warriors from other realms, who were also on the defense against these dark forces. Uniting their efforts, the unknown warriors and Dragon Knights leapt into the infested realm of Communists United Federation, dealing blow after blow upon whatever form the darkness took on. It was after a heavy battle that many dark forms lay scattered on the ground, and the darkness of the realm seeping away, that the unknown warriors were identified. They called themselves the "NPO", "South Pacific Special Forces", and "The Grey Wardens", among other names. Some wore armor befitting a knight, others simple steel breastplates. Among the celebrations following, the man who seemed to be the leader of the group hailing as The Grey Wardens stumbled in. His blurred speech and half-open eyes told a tale of rude awakening and terrible sleep...

As they celebrated their success, these newfound allies and the Dragon Knights detected another large gathering of the darkness. Gathering what warriors hadn't already passed out in drunken stupor, the ragtag force jumped through another portal and into the heavily infested realm of Souls. With their numbers low, but desire to see the darkness purged high, the Dragon Knights and their allies engaged the darkness. It was a close battle, but in the end the forces of Aenaroth, The Grey Wardens, and The South Pacific managed to wrest control of the realm from the dark infestation. Now all that remained was for the few remaining dark forces to be rooted out.

Though not as numerous as their newfound allies, the Dragon Knights did not sway in the face of danger. Dragon Knight Daemon Wrath claimed the first clash of steel within Communists United Federation, whereas both Daemon Wrath and Red Dusk were within the first dozen to engage their foe in Souls.

Just thought I'd add some jump info for analysis:

This region updated early, so people were still wandering in and crossing up as time to jump neared. Some solid group movement in spurts though. Decent.

As you can see, we were ready to go on this one. 17 troops moved at the same time!(11:55:42) Nice.

Disclaimer: Some people may notice a name in the following report that can be a cause of concern. So yes, Varax is now a member of the Dragon Knights of Aenaroth, after a long decision process from myself following them asking permission to join. This is not a decision I make lightly, as I am well aware of their past, but I believe that they are honestly trying to better themselves from their past, and am giving them a chance to redeem themselves. Please, if you have any complaints, send me a telegram and I'll get back to you whenever I log in.

Learning to Fly.

The Dragon Knights gathered around the portal in Draconia, expertly adjusting the gateway to target realms in danger. Word had reached them from their allies The Grey Wardens that darkness was pooling and preparing to attack venerable realms. While Lord of the Vale Red Dusk and Knight Bracsonian holed up in the realm of Souls and aided in hunting down the remaining dark forces, Knights Daemon Wrath and Varax ascended a pair of dragons and set out through the portals, weaving magic to open portals as they flew. As the night started, the dark forces sprung into action, and the Knights and their allies followed. Chasing the dark forces through numerous realms, the Knights and their allies managed to sheath their blades into a few groups of the darkness. As they fought blade and spell through the darkness, Knight Varax noticed a lone resident of a realm, surrounded by dark forces. Springing into action, he swooped in and grabbed the innocent person, dragging them free from the mob churning towards them. The resident turned out to be an important figure of the realm Unovathalamuss, and through his efforts, Varax prevented the dark forces from gaining control of the realm.

Shortly thereafter, Knights Daemon Wrath and Varax managed to swoop in to The Harvey Coalition, clearing the darkness from their path as another ally, of the Renegade Islands Alliance Special Forces, armed powerful looking machinery to blast away the last of the dark forces. Now the Knights noticed a sensation of sickness emanating from a realm completely corrupted by the darkness, and upon a closer investigation, a large host of dark forces was found to be gathering there. As small banners drifted along the host, it was recognized to be similar to the host previously defeated in the realm of Souls. Acting quickly, the Knights set out to Souls, joining Red Dusk and Bracsonian, who had already felt the presence and had gathered the forces in Souls to repel the attack. As the night drew ever closer to an end, the Dragon Knights spotted a large portal open on the plains of Souls. The darkness poured in, their numbers small, but obviously hoping to aid those remaining in the realm. The forces entered in, but just as about 3/4 of the host had entered, day dawned upon the realm, and strong sunlight streamed through the breaking clouds. The portal they had opened flickered, and the forces that entered seconds after seemed to be weakened, as if affected by the sun. Those already in the realm had already joined the dark host that remained, however, and had managed to avoid the portals effects.

As the sun began to rise in Aenaroth, the Knights sent word of their successes to Draconia, remaining in Souls to hunt down more of the dark forces that remained.

Nothing to really report from last update, but I wanted to thank all the people who've been giving praise for this. A lot of work went into making Aenaroth a reality, and I'm happy it's turning out as well as it is.

On a non-R/D note, Aenaroth's citizen legislature is currently writing a constitution for the region, with the first draft posted a few days ago recieving a few criticisms and suggestions. I expect the region to come to an agreement on a draft in the next week, assuming that the corrections made to the draft satisfy those who critiqued it.

From the looks of it, the Constitution will pass unanimously. The Citizens of Aenaroth appear to be very satisfied with the concerns that were addressed at the time. As soon as it does, I'll be posting it here for all to see. ~~Now let's just hope the coding doesn't utterly break on transfer >.>~~
