Accompanied by the sweet tunes of Armstrongulus, we went out this minor update to conquer 14 native villages, getting us a step closer to conquering the world. Viles of native tears were collected during the raids, and will be sold to the Roman patrician in prestigious tearshops, as they are in high demand in the streets of Rome.

A Roman makeover!

In his great wisdom and benevolence, the mighty Emperor Plagentine decided to freshen things up in the Empire by changing the great standard of Rome! The older, more generic design of a red background with the golden eagle was replaced by a completely original and innovative black background and red eagle, which looks much slicker and nicer.

Our experts also note that the new flag design will make our troops more feared on the field, as red and black are a very spooky combination. Another positive side effect is that because it's mostly black, our flag will be much hotter! Literally! Tssss

Naturally, all of the citizens of Rome rejoiced as the old trashy flag was removed from the buildings and the new classy standard was put everywhere, including people's toilets. Here are some examples of good, patriotic Romans showing their love for the new official flag of the Empire.







Er, there seems to be some error with these pictures, most likely caused by Scythian hackers who would like to show the Emperor as dishonest. Pay them no mind, and pay no mind to the screams of censors who were involved in the picture selection for this update being nailed to a cross. We look forward to carry the very brilliantly named "blood-stained eagle" into battle and wave it over conquered barbarian territory and are certain that it will prove crucial to our future military successes.
