Huge respect to our friends in Lily for being the only raider-leaning group who can pose a challenge against Libcord. I'll admit, chasing Lily is something that stays difficult for me no matter how much I do it and I imagine the rest of us think the same.

Side note: It's kind of crazy how much more activity we consistently output compared to raiders. I'm starting to think that being a raider must not be very fun.

It's like the raiders only get one big operation a month and just spend the rest of the month only tagging if they feel like it. I can't imagine they have too much fun with it either, since, if it was more fun for them, they'd do it more often.

Libcord wins yet another overwhelming victory against the handful of invaders who still try.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone at this point, but The Grey Wardens and friends won big again tonight. All due respect to Lily, they put in the effort, they stepped up their speeds a touch from last night, and brought in help from the EPSA in addition to the TWPAF and TBH helpers they already had last time. Unfortunately for them, and fortunately for the many executive delegacies of the NationStates world, that just wasn't enough. Tonight over fifteen indomitable, unmatchable, hyper-vigilant Libcord updaters turned up to kick ass, and kick ass we did. Lily successfully hit nineteen regions while we defeated them in seventy-one others. We also clocked wins against other taggers, including a very amusing 2 man defense by Quebecshire and Vara against four ERN jumpers who forgot to all endorse their point.

"But Alt", you might think to yourself. "It's Wednesday night, why does Libcord have 15+ updaters on a Wednesday night?" Well young grasshopper, we bring over 15 people to random weekday updates for the same reason TGW does 12 person off-update detags, because we can. Also big shout out to The League of Conservative Nations, they've only recently rejoined the good fight, but their turnouts have consistently put more established defender regions to shame.

Author's Note: I keep saying "over fifteen" because we had fifteen updaters plus TITO and I don't know exactly how many people TITO had. Either way it was an ungodly amount of updaters to randomly pull with no attempt at rallying.

You’d think that us consistently shutting out raiderdom would discourage anyone from raiding. But, no. Apparently some fash decided to hit a region and mess things up with their very overwhelming group of three delegate endorsements. Luckily, due to the sheer might of libcord and Antifa we once again boot out fascists out of a pathetic occupation.

All in all, over 50 liberating nations jumped into the region to take a 3-man pile. Call it overkill sure, but these sheer numbers only go higher and higher as time goes on. Maybe you should consider hopping on the trend?

One of the first things the LCNAF ever did was supply pilers to aid Hatay in re-asserting his control over The Arab League after it was raided by Nazi Europa (and subsequently liberated) back in the spring of 2016.

It was good to kick the shit out of Genua before they got as far as Nazi Europa did.

I think even Nazi Europa has more than an "army" of three players. There's a reason why I claimed that Numerous Currencies' failure to activate Windows was the most interesting fact about his region. I mean, his region isn't very impressive when it comes to fighting, yet they act like they're some of the most powerful raiders the site has to offer. Some regions that don't do R/D could probably raid better on their first attempt than GENUA does.

the grey wardens win again and the black hawks lose again

So you know that thing we do where we win a lot? Yeah, we did that tonight as well, but that really shouldn't be surprising. I'm not gonna go into the details, but The black hawks went tagging tonight and the Libcord crew chased them, you know how it goes. We got 13 defences, TBH got 3 hits, and missed 11 times. It was a fun night and we look forward to defending more regions.

The Hubris of the Hawks (AKA, Matthew discovers rhymezone.com, gets bored while writing the report, and stops caring about quality)

There once was a flock of hawks in the land that preyed upon the helpless and weak. From their lofty homies in the cloud, they dove down to the earth’s ground to prey on those that were meek. With their taloned feet they cut and stabbed all those in their way. And when the sun set, they danced upon their defeated prey. No rabbit was safe, no squirrel would leave their tree. Not even the songbirds would sing their tune, for even they feared what the hawks would do to their symphony.

The hawks jeered, scoffed, and laughed at their quarry. Black feathers shimmered in the sky as they caused much worry. “It is simply the circle of life,” they told the small game, “It is simply what we must do to live, can you give us much blame? We are The black hawks, the premier sovereigns of the sky! All things shall bend the knee and let us reign over all that is here and nearby.

But while The black hawks spoke about achievement and pride, the wisest of the critters slipped off to the side. They remembered the lesson their ancestors had taught, to search for the great warrior to cut out the black rot. So they sent their swiftest among them to run to find these mythical wardens of the earth, to preserve the balance of nature and restore things to their proper worth.

So the quick critter ran, he ran to the great cave where the guardian was set to be. After many days he finally climbed up a flight of stairs carved into a mountain by the sea. At the summit of the mount there was a great cavern and with great urgency he began to speak. “Oh great warden, oh guardian of scales! We beseech your aid to banish those who ail.”

Silence greeted the critter and he became disheartened. Had he come all this way only to be disregarded? But his fears were quickly whisked away as the warden of the earth emerged from the dark cave. With the head and talons of an eagle but the body of a lion, thus this king of the skies and land was prepared to save. The griffon let out a cry that pierced the heavens and a roar that trembled the earth, the legendary beast took flight to confront their new foe, those who would dare the creatures that lived down below.

The black hawks were still gloating about their supremacy when the king of beasts arrived. The mere sight of them made them tremble, but the critters cheered as they knew they would survive. The great griffon stood tall while the black hawks cowered in fear. He said to them, “You lot, who torment and jeer. You will face punishment from the warden of skies and the land, the guardian of this animal kingdom will make a stand.” And so the griffon leapt at its new prey, snapping its beak and slashing away. The hawks, scared out of their mind, departed the land for the rest of time.

With peace in the land, the critters rejoiced and cheered. Many critters that were once in hiding reappeared! They joined paws together in song, and sang a tune. To this day, to any wanderer passing through, they still offer up a song in honor of the griffon that saved them that afternoon.
