Did you update in any regions? I think that's our rough metric we use for if someone was there or not, though I definitely saw you jumping! I just don't think I saw you update anywhere, but that tends to happen against LILY. You'll improve in no time, I have zero doubts about it! No worries for only being there for half though, the .im_not_here is the right move

TGW Update on What's Been Happening
Most updates are pretty much dead, and raiders seem to be dropping like flies. You know, when we said we aimed to kill off raiding, we didn't think it'd be this quick.

Jumping the gun there, aren't we? The fact is, a lot of us Black Hawks have irl responsbilities. I'm not going into the specifics of people's personal lives here, but those of us in high school are doing a lot of high-workload classes. Many folks are in university, and are in extremely rigorous programs. Others of us have jobs that require more and more of our time. I, personally, had to quit raiding (and resign as delegate of Narnia) due to needing more sleep and simply not having enough time to call up targets for massive tag raids.
If you want to be arrogant, then by all means, you've won the right to be arrogant with your performance in the tag fields, but know that if/when I get my free time back, Wardens or no Wardens, I'll be back, and better than ever before.

Where has it jumped the gun? Most updates are indeed dead, and you can feel free to scroll through the activity page and check that claim yourself if you so wish. You yourself just pointed out that you have a lot of troops who are at present unable to be participating in update activity, so the "dropping like flies" seems pretty factual to this point in time too. The reasons for inactivity are perfectly valid, but it doesn't change the fact of the present inactivity.
We've all got responsibilities, dude. Work and Midterms are killin' me right now. However, Defenders being RL MIA never stopped raiders from gloating about a lack of resistance, so I'm not sure when the goalposts were moved to make our poking attention at raider inactivity so unacceptable all of a sudden.

He never said that you couldn't poke fun at our inactivity-he just pointed out the inaccuracy of your claims and criticised their brazenness. We might be less active but that doesn't mean that we've been defeated. Even if raiding were somehow dead it wouldn't be TGW who killed it.

On the other hand, we've been hovering around a TBH high of 500ish embassies/active tags recently, which is somewhat of a record for my time.

Invading on Life Support
We're losing them Doctor! After The Black Hawks collapsed on the field in the face of Daddy Warden a mere 10 minutes into update this last Saturday major, the invader faction was rushed into Weisshaupt General generally unresponsive and with a thready pulse. A faction of advanced age and questionable dietary choices, The Black Hawks remained in critical condition for almost 24 hours before some promising signs of life began to show at the beginning of this previous major update. Unfortunately for TBH's loved ones, these lifesigns were mere false positives. Two hawks fluttered out of the nest to raid and managed to score a single hit in the under 30 minutes of activity they were able to exert. This lone ray of light was sharply contrasted with the ten regions Daddy Warden defended against the blight, and the handful that were abject misses, including at least one where Dr. Altmoras and the invader lead updated in region before the other invader endorser even managed to click his single button to move into region, and many more where several wardens routinely beat the invader endorser into the target. As mentioned before, the Black Hawks unfortunately collapsed again and became unresponsive not even halfway through the update that they so totally needed to be longer. Figuring that tagging can't be
that taxing, The Wardens and friends decided to try a little ourselves, setting triggers for detags to really drive the net invader success rate for the night into the red. Spoiler Alert: It's both easy and boring as hell, I almost understand why raiders give up so easily.
Oh and I almost forgot, it's not just TBH. TRE is so not popping right now that we tagged their Jump Point on Saturday.

Training planned to stop after tenish targets is training meant to stop after tenish targets. In this case, training people to point in a live raid who’d only ever practice on a static region outside update. It’s a compromise so we can get a run in and work on some fundamentals, but people can also get to bed.
I don’t think you’ll find any Hawks that are ashamed of it. Training is important, as is not burning people out.
