Tech issues suck.

Hey, hey, we're still alive. Funny thing: my internet was down for the past 8 hours, and it only just came back now. So, I was forced to update while using my phone's data plan, which slowed me down a bit. This did not reduce our efficiency this, however. Black Hawks decided to do some tagging this major, but were bested by the updaters from Libcord. We'd like to thank the Hawks for continuing to what was presumably the end of their whole run (even if it was only half the update), however, despite the odds being against them due to only having a couple updaters (though there are ways to easily win against chasers even while outnumbered). We had fun and hope you did as well.

Side note: there was a slight bug that resulted in Vandoosa moving into a region Alder as it ceased to exist, causing him to be both inside and outside the region at the same time, creating weird behavior, which makes two technical issues which happened tonight.

It was a quiet and relaxing Monday night. So relaxing that I wanted to just sit down and do detags (no not really) for the whole major update. Unfortunately, the most annoying military organization in NationStates decided to show up for some tagging. You know, the usual raiding activity. Out of 19 jump attempts, pals from Libcord reduced The Black Hawks to 2 hits. With raider activity being so rare for the past month, you'd expect them to at least do something of notable quality when they do finally get around to raiding. Overall, The Grey Wardens and their ally ended the night with 10 defenses, while the rest of TBH's jumps were misses.

But given that you are our one of our two remaining children that actually has some level of activity, we're inclined to let it slide, especially given the polite apology given to Daddy.

Please don't be hurt by the disappointment we have had in you lately, its only purpose was to motivate you to try and improve yourself, and it has clearly worked: you went straight from a 10% hit rate to a 44% (still a failing rate in Daddy's standards) hit rate, even when we managed to get 63% of the number of your wins despite Daddy playing the game on hard mode.

I want to put some metrics on this for everyone. I spent the last 40 minutes looking at every TGW GP report going back over two years. Why? Because, believe it or not, that's how old this schtick is. The first "daddy" report was in June 2017. Since then, depending on how you count it exactly, between 1/4 and 1/3 of all the times you've reported chasing TBH have been "daddy" related.

Let me say that again.

Every third or fourth report in this thread that names TBH, going back over two years, is a goddamned "daddy" report.

First, it's still fucking weird, and second, for the love of god, come up with something new - this horse was already beaten into a liquid slush at least a year ago.
