The Mafia Guild began as a movement in May of 2010 in the Guild Confederacy of Equinox. Founded by the first Godfather Asylum, it was praised as one of “the coolest guild ideas, by far” almost from its inception. Its success derives from its unique blend of mafioso style, strong political leadership, active raider military and a uniquely Equinoxian sense of humor.
In the course of its history, The Mafia has been a potent force in raiderdom and Equinox’s politics, alike. This third iteration under Godfather Satya resurrects the iconic organization from its deep coma amidst a time of change in, both, raiderdom and Equinox.
The Mafia is back once again, instilling a fear for their kneecaps in defenders and natives across NationStates.
RANKS of THE MAFIA SOLDATOS
Godfather - Leader of the Famiglia and The Mafia Soldatos unless duties are given to a rank below him.
Underboss - Leader of The Mafia Soldatos, elected on a ticket with the Godfather and handles all the military activities unless the Godfather decides otherwise.
Caporegime Militare (Sr. & Jr.) - Second command tier of the Mafia Soldatos, appointed by the Underboss or Godfather, and will take on military activities in the event of absence of both Underboss and the Godfather. Caporegimes have shown strong drive in the Soldatos and a strong command of all raiding fundamentals/strategy. They regularly execute complex raids and participate in activities indirectly-related to military operations. Actively takes on a role in planning military activities of all sorts.
Sergente - The highest rank not considered part of military leadership. Granted after successful planning of a raid. Must have a strong command of regional officership, pointing and triggering. Takes command after all above are absent.
Caporale - The second highest rank not considered part of military leadership. Granted after successful tenure as a regional officer and/or point nation in a raid. Typically last in command.
Soldato Sr. - Granted after completion of a tag raid with sufficient comfort.
Soldato Jr. - Granted after completion of an update mission or deemed fit. Cannot be in command unless command is given by any ranking above Soldato Sr.
Picciotto - the rank for new enlistments; progresses to Soldato Jr. after an update mission or otherwise, deemed fit.
Associate - general members of The Mafia Guild lacking military training/enlistment; good for piling.
