Jousting with The Communist Bloc

(Europeia, 07/01/2020) - Region of the Week marks a week celebrating and developing friendships with other regions. Throughout the week, games and events are held, voice chats full of excitement commence, and everyone gets just to know each other a little bit better.

Region of the Week with The Communist Bloc was kicked off with a Get to Know You voice chat on December 28 and the fun lasted until January 3. Everyone rang in the new year in both regions.

Some of the fun games held were Secret Hitler, Cards Against Humanity, Skribbl.io, Among us, and Trivia which was hosted by Rotasu and Baobab. By far the most engaging and fun was the Cards Against Humanity game, which created a meme and inside joke within both communities that is sure to be shared for some time.

Europeia and The Communist Bloc share a Pact of Mutual Non-Aggression and Friendship that was signed in 2018 under then-President HEM.

When asked about our relations with The Communist Bloc, President Pichtonia said, "The Communist Bloc and us have actually enjoyed treatied relations for many years now. We enjoyed this opportunity to make that treaty come to life, and both regions agreed that we need to do something like that more often. We had a blast!"

We thank The Communist Bloc for celebrating New Year's with us and hope the best for them!

(Europeia, 22/01/2020) - A Region of the Week event was held together with The West Pacific (TWP) between January 7 and January 14, the first of these events fully held in 2021.

Europeia and TWP have been treatied allies since 2016, following a Treaty of Friendship signed under then-President Trinnien and TWP Delegate Elegarth.

Owing to this long-standing friendship, President Pichtonia announced the event on January 6. Celebrations then started on the next day with a "get to know you" voice chat. The following days saw several games being hosted by Europeian citizens Baobab, Giovanniland, and Rotasu.

Sessions of Skribbl.io, Among Us, Secret Hitler, Board Game Online, Trivia, and Uno happened throughout the event, in which members from both regions participated to have fun and strengthen the ties between the two regions. Options to play games with bots, such as Taco Shack and Pokémon, were also available.

Other activities such as daily polls hosted by Minister of Culture Lime and Minister of Foreign Affairs Monkey covering interesting and varied topics. Furthermore, Grand Admiral Kazaman organized a tag raid together with pirates from The West Pacific Armed Forces in the last day of the event, hitting over twenty regions.

Europeia thanks TWP for a very active Region of the Week event and hopes that the friendship between the two regions will last for many years to come.
