Europeian Survivor Invite

Who: Europeia will be hosting!

What: Survivor is a show that maroons a group of strangers in an isolated location, where they must provide food, water, fire, and shelter for themselves. The contestants compete in challenges for rewards and immunity from elimination. The contestants are progressively eliminated from the game as they are voted out by their fellow contestants, until only one remains and is given the title of "Sole Survivor". Frequent physical challenges are used to pit the teams against each other for rewards, such as food or luxuries, or for "immunity", forcing the other tribe to attend "Tribal Council", where they must vote off one of their players.

Once about half the players are remaining, the tribes are merged into a single tribe, and competitions are on an individual basis; winning immunity prevents that player from being voted out. Most players that are voted out at this stage form the game's "jury". Once down to two or three people, a final Tribal Council is held where the remaining players plead their case to the jury members. The jury then votes for which player should be considered the "Sole Survivor" and win the show's grand prize.

When: Applications will open on Saturday, February 3rd and last until February 8th, or whenever we have a clear amount of people as this season we feature an enormous cast size.

How: The game is run similarly to that of RL Survivor, however, without actual rewards we focus strictly on immunity and then tribal council. There will be twists, there will be turns, but at the end we hope you grow closer to your fellow NSers and Gameplayers. Partnerships are an important part of NationStates Gameplay, but now they are more important than ever in the brutal game of Survivor. Challenges will be a mix of radio and forum activities. Applications will not be a first come, first serve basis, but rather who I feel will do -great- in this game. And if you failed to get in, don't worry. We will establish a Viewer's Lounge where people can discuss and get up to date information about game happenings.

I.e., I assume you're expected to put in some time on a regular basis, but can that be whenever it fits one's schedule for the day, or will there be things like, say, an event at 6pm est that causes your team to suffer if you cannot attend.

I have always strived to run 24 hour competitions because I know and fully understand the time constraint. Whenever that is not possible, the competitions will not be won/lost based on the number attended, and tribes will have a fair shot at winning.

EuroSurvivor is back for its fourth season, Survivor: Culture Clash, which will feature up to 30 castaways! We have long focused on the Europeian culture of honor, integrity, and friendship which has consumed the game in a direction inconsistent with other regions. Now, it is time to test the will and culture of other regions in this absolutely brutal game. Culture's from across NationStates will clash in total war, with one person left standing at the end: the Sole Survivor. I'm expecting around 25 applications, so if we don't have enough I will adjust the game if needed, including possible cuts to the cast. Please answer the questions below and post the application. The application will be open until February 8th, 2016 which means you all have plenty of time to ponder your activity for the next few days and think about playing if you are uncertain (which you shouldn't be!)

Everyone who has played in EuroSurvivor before can vouch for the extraordinary experience playing brings. Not only do you get to meet and know your fellow GPers more, but you also get to see them on a new level entirely. Interact with people you never interacted with. Scheme with people you never schemed with. Befriend people you have never thought about befriending. Survivor is a core place to better connect with your fellow NSers, which brings about a fulfilling and rewarding experience for all involved.

Please fill out the following application if you are interested in participating in Survivor: Culture Clash and post below. Applications will be closed in around five days. The game will take place on Europeia's forums, so if you do apply to play, make sure to create an account and apply for diplomatic masking. There will be a mixture of live challenges and non-live challenges, with the focus being making most non-live. There will be a daily podcast and a Viewers' Lounge to discuss the game as it is going, so if you don't happen to make the game there will certainly be other ways to participate!

Read: this game will go in a fashion of non-live immunity challenge followed up by a 24 hour tribal council where one person will be voted out of the game. Alliances, backstabbing, and lying is all found in this game, and has happened over our three seasons plenty of times.
