To explain what shouldn't need to be explained: That dispatch ridicules KAISERREICH's mostly incorrect usage of german, while simultaneously satirizing a strong tendency of KAISERREICH and many other places in that sphere to categorically label those that oppose them as "commies" (or sometimes "socialists"), doing so in the usual ridiculously over-the-top shitposty Warden way you all know and love.
So - again, we're not communists (collectively, individual Wardens might be), but we
are very fabulous, and deserve our own dedicated declaration of war.
Questioning Roavin's ability to shitpost is like questioning how well North Korea can oppress their citizens. The answer should be obvious.

Executive Order JOP#3
Regarding the Structure of the Channel Island Commonwealth.
Noting that there is no provided structure for the Channel Island Commonwealth, an entity that has existed since before the New Republic, I as President, provide this executive order to resolve this issue.
The Channel Island Commonwealth shall be divided into 3 types of regions: Colonies, Forts, and Provinces.
Colonies shall be ruled directly by the Republic, with the Secretary of State presiding over the management of the Colonies.
Forts shall be placed under Military authority and each fort shall be ruled by a Fort Commander.
Provinces shall be small active regions, overseen by a Governor. Governors may be directly responsible for the running of the Province, or may be the official Department of State representative to the Province.
The President and the Secretary of State may appoint Governors to Provinces. The President and the Secretary of Defense may appoint Fort Commanders.
Regions who are under the control of the Republic are deemed members of the Commonwealth (excluding the Republic itself). Regions may also agree to becoming members of the Commonwealth by having the region's leadership contact the President or Secretary of State with an intent to join.

2. Could you provide an official statement clarifying the status of Warzone Africa to the Channel Island Commonwealth? Mister Canton Empire is currently delegate of the region and is known to be a high ranking member of Channel Island, however I also see that there are no official indicators of any relations between the two regions. If it is unrelated of Channel Island, does it know the affiliation of Canton Empire's supporters in WZ Africa? How does the Commonwealth feel that such a prominent member of Channel Island is effectively in charge of another region?

Firstly, We do have a list. It is located at the first post on this thread.
2. As of now, Warzone Asia is supported by the Channel Island Naval Reserve, with the hopes of integrating the region into the Commonwealth as its first Province. Currently, there have been no complaints about my status as President of the Republic and King of Warzone Africa.

Greetings everyone. Today, I am here before you to inform you, to clarify. On May 17th, drafted a statement asking for the Regional Assembly to declare war on Nazi Europa for their raid on the Republic, carried out by Commodore Evesham Villa of the Channel Island Naval Reserve. I have come here to announce that this was the result of a planned military operation, designed to infiltrate Nazi Europa and undermine operations. Commodore Villa performed his duties with distinction, infiltrating the region and rising to the rank of Reichfuhrer-SS there. This intelligence operation can be considered a success, showing that even a small military can gain power around the world. To those who seek to do us harm, let it be known. We may be small, but we will find a way to damage you. Mess with us and you will see.
Of course, this mission would not have been possible with out the work of Commodore Evesham Villa. Therefore, I am promoting him to Rear Admiral, and placing him in charge of military operations. I am also giving him the award, Order of the High Seas, for his continued service in the Naval Reserve.

A Farewell Address from the Office of the President.
Pride. Pride is the one word I can think of when I look back on this term. Yes, we've had our debates. Yes, we have had our issues, and yes, we've had massive disagreements. Yet this Republic still stands. Average, dedicated citizens have stood up and spoke their minds on the issues that matter to them. You have spoken your minds, exercised that freedom of speech, and worked to make this Republic great. During this term, we have seen a rapid rise in our population. Over the last term we have seen an increase in Cabinet accountability. We have seen an increase in activity. We have debated over mindless topics, talked to the end of the day about whatever came to mind. We bonded. We formed a community. I cannot be more thankful for each and everyone of you. Your experiences, your dreams, your passion. We have built a beautiful mosaic of cultures and personalities in this region. That is something special. That is the dream for Channel Island. And finally, a thank you to my Cabinet Secretaries. Speaker Chewion. You came into this region and you did amazing. You threw yourself into the work, and you truly showed dedication to your work here. I cannot wait to see your future in this region. Secretary of the Interior Tillyburg. Your willingness to jump straight into the Cabinet was very heartening. Your dedication to bringing in new members of this Republic has been amazing. I also cannot wait to see more from you. Secretary of Defense Videca. The work you put into making the military great has been amazing. You have been a trusted advisor to me. All of you have been. I want you all to continue and reach for the stars. All this would not be possible without you.
It seems like I have run out of thanks to give. Using the power vested in me by the Respect to Service Act, I hereby nominate Aminea, Arc Templarus, and Embassy Lords to become Legacy Citizens. All three of them served to establish the basis of the Republic as we know it today. Among the first citizens of this region, they worked to grow this region until the day they departed. I can think of none better to become our first legacy citizens than these three. I cannot wait to add many more citizens to this list. It might be you, the person reading this speech. And finally, as I leave office, I would like to say thank you to those who had faith in me, inside of the Republic and out. It means the world to me. Thank you for voting for me, thank you for trusting me. Thank you.

President, Vice President resign in protest
(Republic Square -Aug 11, 2017) - What started as a discussion about discord bans quickly turned into a political fire storm as both the President and Vice President left the region, angered over alleged authoritative rule.
It started when Lithuania Propria, a former citizen of the region, was order to move pic spam off the regional discord's #republicsquare channel. Upon hearing this, Propria complained about authoritarian rule, and claimed that Speaker of the Regional Assembly Joint Operational Force (also known as Canton Empire) had overstepped his boundaries. Vice President Evesham Villa took to his side, arguing against the request. Lithuania Propria proceeded to say "f*** you, sir" to Speaker Canton Empire, and was promptly kicked from this discord. Vice President Villa, joined by Defense Secretary Vidcea, argued against the kick, calling it the stifling of free speech, and questioning if the cause for the ban even happened, while Interior Secretary TillyBurg vouched for the existence of the offending material. The arguments for each side became more heated, culminating the the Vice President's resignation and departure from the region. Later in the night, the President, Chewion, came on and and reviewed the events, and sided with Evesham Villa. When asked to nominate a new Vice President, he instead have a 10 minute notice of his impending resignation.
With the political dust kicked up, the line of succession kicked in, and Joint Operational Force became the President ahead of the August 13th presidential elections, and an uncertain future.

An accidental speech
This will not be a tradition farewell speech, because this was not a traditional presidency. This was an accidental presidency and it was my fault.
I have made mistakes. I've made serious mistakes outside of the Republic, I made serious mistakes in my first term as President. Mistakes that mean that I may never see the rise of Channel Island. I may never see its glory days. But I ask myself, "Isn't that what nationstates is?" The hope of building something that will outlive you? Passing on your legacy to the up and coming new comer? In the Hamilton song The World Was Wide Enough, Hamilton questions the meaning of a legacy, asking "Is it planting seeds I a garden you'll never get to see?" I have to say, yes, it is. I have to come face to face with this fact. Everyday, I will try to atone for these mistakes, and while people may not look for it or appreciate it, it will still happen. I am determined to leave my legacy upon nationstates. I want to retire from this game knowing that I have made a difference in this game, and I hope every one will play this game with the same determination.
