Guess this gives me an extension to work on my booth, then! Looking forward to the fair, even if it will be delayed by a bit.

Probably for the best, it was an advanced timeline. Here's hoping for a great fair.

This isn't the first time we've missed a World Fair - NSWFII was hosted in mid-January.

We didn't "miss" a target, per se, January was the plan. The host felt that the period right after New Years would be more active than the holidays proper - what was cancelled was a New York -esque New Years Globe for the forum which turned out to be a haywire abomination of code (and may have blown up in Solm and I's face - a la, the amp in Back to the Future.) NSWFIII was the only fair hosted in the holidays leading up to Christmas. I'm not sure there was a difference in activity between January and December.

There was certainly never any set date for when a NS World Fair should happen: the first one took place on NS's birthday (in November), the second one was after New Years Day, the third, the week leading up to Christmas, the fourth, early December. In the case of 2014, I had forgotten we had had a Fair already and had to call the fair, "NS World Fair III" rather than confusingly "NS World Fair 2014." :lol2:

And now I just miss Solm a lot. Dammit. :(

No, that's correct. Sorry - that was a poor choice of wording on my part. I'll edit that post now.

And yeah, Solm was awesome for these fairs.

No worries, you're correct that NSWFII was run in January. I had flouted the idea of doing NSWFII on Christmas early on to you, but it was vetoed very early in production.
