The Red Fleet concludes operation in Kekistani Republic

After only seventeen days, The Red Fleet has ended its operation in Kekistani Republic by ejecting all sixteen remaining natives and applying a password in the first operational use of its operation calculator, designed to relay to Fleet officers the most efficient possible use of Influence to end occupations quickly.

Beginning at 10:17 AM Eastern time, regional officers began clearing the region of allied soldiers and sailors, followed by regional natives. Ample time was given between each ejection to allow for the gathering of intelligence about the amount of SPDR spent, which confirmed numbers used in The Red Fleet's operation calculator. The calculator had accurately predicted the final date and ending SPDR counts after former natives fled to a newly-founded region a week ago. Our thanks is extended to these high-influence natives whose departure allowed the operation to end a full week earlier than originally planned.

Sailors involved in the operation have been awarded a ribbon for their participation in the operation, which they may wear on their ribbon racks:

The Red Fleet secures home region of former Comintern Squadron

Last night, The Red Fleet concluded a two-week operation to secure Union of Socialist Soviet Republics, a long-standing ally of TRF whose founder, Esch, had formerly been the Squadron Admiral of the Fleet’s Comintern Squadron before parting ways a few years ago. USSR had fallen into a period of inactivity, with a low point marked by the CTE of its founder and a poorly-executed raid that was broken up by the Grey Wardens before The Red Fleet moved into the region to protect it.

The Red Fleet establishment of a password, visible to the remaining verifiable native nation, is in keeping with the Fleet's long-standing defensive policy which

• Turns away any further raid attempts on the region, and therefore
• Reduces the number of potential raid targets, which consequently
• Filters the region out of the spread of vulnerable regions to patrol.

I find it a little bit weird that I am defending the Fleet right here, but I'm not seeing it. It's not like they went on the World Factbook Entry about "liberating" it. I don't even think they changed it. It's just a defense- not different from normal defender missions.
