Most Influential Gameplayer: Eluvatar. JUSTIFICATION: In being the man that reviewed the Predator script upon its being brought to attention after Halc's DOS, Elu managed to set off a trigger of events which led to the Predator scandal.
Best Raider: Yuno. JUSTIFICATION: Yuno is successfully coordinating the raider armies of many regions, including at least three feeders - which should probably warrant this award.
Best Defender: Benevolent Thomas
Best Up-and-Coming Raider: The World Assembly. JUSTIFICATION: In approving first a liberation and then a repeal of the liberation for The NSIA, the World Assembly helped to facilitate "the raid seen around the world" in a practice rarely utilised and much criticised (especially by yours truly).
Best Up-and-Coming Defender: Warden Drake. JUSTIFICATION: For such amazing nation names as "Drake made defending great again as he," "Drake endoed raider dels cause YOLO and," "Drake ducked under the ban button as he," and (my personal favourite) "Drake twerked 2 avoid being banned as he".
Best Invader Organization: The Invaders
Best Defender Organization: Solidarity: Semper Una
Invasion of the Year: CAIN's invasion of The NSIA.
Liberation of the Year: Dank Memes. JUSTIFICATION: Firstly they got raided by HYDRA, then they got WA liberated, then they got GP liberated (becoming a territory, then a semi-autonomous region, of Nazi Europa), then everybody moved along a bit, then the region got refounded and was proclaimed owned by BLITZKRIEG real estate. Pretty gripping shit, huh?

Best Up-and-Coming Raider: Yuno (I know a lot of folks are putting her a bit higher up, but I think it's important to remember just how fast all this has been - if she's winning your nomination for best raider/most influential after that meteoric rise, then shouldn't that be a cinch for up and coming? :P)
Best Up-and-Coming Defender: Roavin (Hands down changing the game there) (honorable mention to Drake)
Best Invader Organization: Is it bad if I say TBH?
Best Defender Organization: Grudgingly, TGW.
Invasion of the Year: Bit unorthodoz, in that it's not a single raid per se, but - Operation Blackout. Record breaking, manually triggered, requiring a ton of planning, and as many people participating as any given operation. (can we not flood this with NSIA, despite how big that was? :P)
Liberation of the Year: I honestly forget names, but there were three small ops in a row at one point that all got libbed within 48 hours, and that was really impressive.

Most Influential Gameplayer: Yuno, this is just common sense folks.
Best Raider: Ever-Wandering Souls
Best Defender: Benevolent Thomas.
Best Up-and-Coming Raider: Yuno. It took me a while to choose between her and a couple of others, and I ultimately chose her because she (unlike others) has never taken any of the positions she earns lightly. You can always count on Yuno!
Best Up-and-Coming Defender: Roavin. He's already begun changing the R/D sphere himself and may hopefully slap a better reputation on The Grey Wardens (reason why I did not choose them)
Best Invader Organization: The Black Hawks
Best Defender Organization: The South Pacific Special Forces
Invasion of the Year: United Alliance of Conservative Nations. Because what is better than slowly raiding a region with obvious puppets over a single update and not being noticed by defenders?
Liberation of the Year: N/A
Gameplay Thread of the Year: Neutral Ground
Best Gameplay Newspaper: Free Press News Service
Biggest Meltdown of the Year: Grand Central. No explanation needed.

Noteworthy Event of the Year: Operation Blackout - The Black Hawks broke the manual tag raid record. I did not list this under "Invasion of the Year" because it's not necessarily an invasion by my definition per se. But definitely a noteworthy event! There is also the noteworthy and quite ironic event of the Security Council attempting to condemn Mikeswill.
