I wonder if it bothers any of you that Gest, who led two raider regions into destruction for extreme rule-breaking, is now your Field Commander. To those of you who might be bothered by this, even if you won't say so publicly for fear of retribution from your superiors: Abandon ship sooner rather than later, before you get caught up in the next round of cheating under Gest's "leadership."

I am so, so sorry I ever defended this region from criticism. The Invaders deserve all the scorn, and then some.

Anyways, I give it 8 months tops until TI finds a way to fall apart. After all, both of Gest's other big regions did so quite successfully.

About a month ago I insulted Nakari in an improper way when she defected from The Invaders. I do not believe my anger for her betrayal of the region was incorrect, however the form I expressed it in was, therefore I publicly apologize to her. I hadn't insulted a female defector like that before and I shouldn't have done it with this one. I could try to justify myself by pointing to X,Y, or Z in real life but it's irrelevant to the person who I offended. It happened, it shouldn't have happened, and again sorry. As for the future, I'm not going to say I'm going to turn into a boy scout because I am who I am, but I will tone down the rhetoric to a more acceptable level.

I. It is up to Nakari, not anyone else, to determine whether the apology is to be accepted. Others may give input and debate it, as well as help her interpret and advise, but as it is not directed at them, it would not be proper to accept or decline it.

II. I always have had respect for you, Gest, and still do even when you and I annoyed the ever-loving shit out of each other. You get now that what a leader says and does represents the region, but what they doesn't do and watches by when the masses do and say unsavoury stuff also reflects, in this case poorly. You had the same flaw in your leadership in DEN, which I tried to correct but ultimately it is down to you, as the clear authority. Rein in your kids, is my advice. My strongest advice, enough so that I'd broked my word not to post in this thread and posted anyway. Work to make a healthier and more hygienic environ. I'm too busy and frail to do that a third time after DEN and Grand Central too much on my own.

EDIT: This is not to say I'm not disappointed in your conduct, Gest. I am very much so, believing that sexism was not a line you'd cross, and I was there the morning after Nakari defected, when you made those awful comments. I'm somewhat glad you acknowledged you were in the wrong, but there is still a very long way to go. Plan your next moves carefully, for they might just be yours and your region's last. I assume you failed to see the joint statement made by multiple regions, including KoGB. Raiders who will work with TI are now in the extreme minority. So no it isn't on raiderdom. The minority do not represent the values of the majority. So please get somewhere with your generalizations, or if not, I assume a few could be made about defenders based off of some of its membership, both present and past. A certain Chief of the Band comes to mind.
