You guys need to get active or something, else the region should just disband. It's just wasting stamps and the time of newer nations who end up there. Good luck then.
The Invaders is dead. Predator and the subsequent shit show that went along with it pretty much sealed it's fate. Cheaters will never be taken seriously, and Gest is trying with all of his might to hold onto his former ill-gotten glory. Let it fade into the mists.
As little credit as I'm willing to give The Invaders, an argument can be made that they were a force to be reckoned with a good while after Predator. Even while ostracised by much of the R/D community, they had relatively high piler numbers, fairly competent leadership, and some notable shenanigans under their belt- Liberate California comes to mind.
The real decline mostly came with Knot stepping down, and several unremarkable and/or failed operations on the part of Drunken Conquerors afterwards.
That said, I wouldn't say Gest is trying with all of his might to do anything in particular. For most of TI's existence, and a decent portion of DEN's latter history, Gest's largely been bankrolling the operation with stamps, while relying on having officers willing to do the majority of the actual raiding work. Without those officers, only the stamp floods are left, and little else.
