I have no idea why that quote keeps being brought up. At the time I said it, it was true; I had never supported a coup d'etat against a Feeder or Sinker

Osiris' community

This just demonstrates how little you actually know about the community and government of Osiris. The Heir Apparent, who will eventually succeed to the office of Pharaoh, must first be confirmed by the Council of Scribes, our all-citizen legislature, as well as the Council of Guardians. Neo Kervoskia, who will be the next Pharaoh when I eventually abdicate, was unanimously confirmed by citizens of Osiris.
Anyone in Osiris is free to raise issues regarding the government. What seems to bother you is that they aren't, because they like their government. I suppose, in your view, regional communities should be contentious and constantly at odds with each other, so it will be easier for people like you to gain undeserved power based on factional politicking.
Cormactopia II wrote:Osiris had spent months in inactivity, which was interrupted only by the toxic internal conflict that resulted from the April election for Pharaoh.
The Almighty Jesus Whale, whom your faction sought to install as Pharaoh, had accumulated only 239 forum posts over the course of two years, most of which consisted of "Aye," "Nay," or "Abstain."
This picture you paint of a "thriving democracy" is simply a lie. The republic you claim to love so much, but in which you never actually participated in any meaningful way, failed Osiris in every conceivable way, by every conceivable metric, and was the second republican government to do so. Republicanism is dead in Osiris. No one misses it, because people like having a cooperative and active community and a functional government. It's unfortunate that you prefer dysfunction as the lazy path to gaining power, rather than advancing through merit and cooperation with your regionmates. Hopefully those who made actual contributions to Osiris during the second republican era will feel otherwise and will accept our invitation to be part of our much stronger, more active, and more cooperative community and government. It doesn't matter that it isn't a cookie cutter republic. It matters that it works.

I cannot believe so much time has passed. Happy Birthday to Osiris and Balder. How you have grown!
I am proud to have been a small part of the beginnings and happy to see that Osiris has a thriving community and evolved into a very distinct and unique region.
I must admit to a certain amount of relief back then when the Delegate seat was transitioned to the elected Pharaoh Zaolat.
Happy Birthday
