All the biggest were TBH hits, not DEN ones.

What I'm perhaps the most disheartened about after this whole affair is the state we're leaving the name of DEN in. A lot of people will view us as stomping in to take the name of the most (in)famous invader organization during a time of difficulty and then screwing it up big time. It makes my heart ache that so many people, from those who allowed us to carry on the namesake to those that worked hard to develop an identity, will now be sorely disappointed. A shameful day indeed.
In the future, I hope that a qualified group of people will be given the chance to repair this.

You were a spy for the raiders or a spy for the defenders?

The point I'm making is that TBR's appropriation of DEN shouldn't result in punishment for players who had nothing to do with their illegal actions, or the destruction of regions that long predate all the events in question.
And all I'm saying is that DEN is no longer DEN because The Black Riders hijacked the region.
If you replace every board in a boat is it still the same boat? Yes, it just looks different, but it will still take you from point A to point B with the same crew.

Uh, no, it isn't.

Old DEN had no more choice in the matter than did any of the other regions that TBR/"DEN" forcibly re-founded. Gest didn't ask anyone; he just took it, and kept it.

FOREVERDEN was the Delegate, not the Founder nation. I can't remember the Founder nation's name, but it was one of Gest's puppets. Whether it was transferred to a historical DEN native like you say, I can't say for sure, but it was definitely Gest's originally and as far as I know it's deleted now.
EDIT: The Founder nation was Esooreet and according to the Boneyard it ceased to exist today.

In my opinion, keeping the 'DoS on your next slip up' to people on the list is absurd. After this fiasco, the abuses in TBR, LKE, the Trident(?) thing with Nephmir, and Frak's various abuses, breaking a script rule in this way should be grounds for DoS, period. Using scripts made by DoS players should be illegal, Period. If those two rules were established, and made clear on the script rules, this mess would have never happened.
Nephmir got a slap on the wrist for directly collaborating with Frak compared to what's happening here. I can already tell you that we're going to get two months down the line and some other script violation will happen somewhere, and they will get off with half of what the lightest punishment is here, despite some of us only having used predator when Halcones wasn't Dos.

There, I think, is the point. People have worked with DOS players and got off easy. So, people continued to work with DOS players. All things considered, moderation and admin have been fairly lenient in this regard and I think they feel like they needed more than letting people off "easy", as letting them off "easy" wasn't enough to make the point clear to the rest of the population.
