We had a great turn out for
HYDRA Command's first ever
Deputy Director Debate this past Sunday, which lasted for over 2 hours and 40 minutes and had more than 20 attendees. We discussed long term regional policies, the state of raiderdom in contemporary times, some real life politics and more. At the end of the debate, a public poll was held, in which 16 attendees participated. The results for each speaker are as follows:
McMannia Elected as New Deputy Director
After a 5 hour voting window, in which 11 members of
HYDRA Command’s Officer Corp and High Command cast their ballots, the results are finally in. As the election began, McMannia took a quick lead, but the election quickly evened out. It was down to the wire until the last hour of the election when McMannia’s lead was solidified.
General McManniaa Whitehall has hereby been elected as the fourth Deputy Director of HYDRA Command, winning with 7 votes in his favor, with
Brigadier General Eliot Isaraider II as the runner up with 4 votes in favor.
Deputy Director We Are Not the NSA has stepped down from his position without incident, and has had his normal rank of
Major General restored. NSA had this to say, "McMannia is an old friend, and one of the most competent and active regional leaders in Hydra's history. I am happy that McMannia won the election, and honoured that he will be carrying the torch I have held for the past four months. I would also like to say that Eliot had a great campaign, and should run again in the next election."
HYDRA Command is looking forward to a fruitful November-December term with McMannia as our Head of State. When asked for a statement on the beginning of his term,
Deputy Director McMannia responded, “I am honored to have been elected to this esteemed office, and look forward to serving my term with dignity and respect.”
We Are Not the NSA Appointed to Director of HYDRA Command Those of you who possess the ability to read, and have used it to read this post may have noticed that the candidate who was winning in the polls did not receive a single vote in the main election. This was because
Major General We Are Not the NSA was removed from the ballot less than an hour before the election began. This is due to the sudden promotion of We are Not the NSA to
Director of HYDRA Command.
The decision to temporarily promote We Are Not the NSA to the Head of Government and Commander in Chief position of HYDRA Command was made due to an announced Leave of Absence by HYDRA Command’s
Director,
Tom Vasentius Hydra. Tom has convinced the High Command that he requires time off to infiltrate the closest tropical themed region for a future occupation, unless he can find a cruise ship themed region in which case he will need to run a long term sting operation by its pool. What a patriot. Due to our leader’s expected absence, which is expected to last through November to December, Tom Vasentius has decided to appoint
Major-General We Are Not the NSA as the new
Director of HYDRA Command, until his return.
NSA had this to say, “I am truly honored to have been selected for this prestigious position, and I look forward to not only holding down the fort in Tom’s absence, but in continuing to increase Hydra’s capabilities as one of the most active raider regions in the world. HAIL HYDRA!”
Congratulations to those who have been promoted. HAIL HYDRA!
