He did know.

Predator came compiled in 32 bit and 64 bit binaries. It was impossible for any user for Predator to actually know how the tool functioned or if it was an illegal script. I agree that it should be the player's responsibility to ensure that any scripts they use are legal, but in some cases (In predator's case) it is impossible to actually check if it is legal on the player's end.

No aspect of this game requires external software.

If Predator was a virus, nobody would use it, don't compare the two, and Predator was not conceived by Frak, it was concieved by Halcones, who was not DOS'd, and was the leader of the black riders. We had no reason to not trust him.
Aurum Rider wrote:As for the rest of your posts, I am not saying it was not our fault for it's illegality, and I said so. I am saying that in some cases there is no way to way to verify the legality of a script player side. I am not saying that the rules should change, I am saying there should be tools available to the user to ensure that they are following them.

You are honestly going to make the claim that it was Halcones who wrote Predator? If so, I would love to see some evidence to back that up.
The Silver Sentinel wrote:So now Admin needs to develop tools to ensure your tools aren't illegal? They could do one better and just ban all tools, and if people keep developing illegal scripts that is exactly what is going to happen.

On the same card, you prove that halcones did not. We sent Predator error reports to Halcones and they'd be fixed within the hour, Halcones handled who could use predator (As cora said earlier, Frak could not), Halcones owned the dropboxed Predator was distributed through, and through many chats with Halcones about game and software development, he proved himself more than capable with Python, The language that Predator was written in.
I Strongly advise that before you make wild claims about things, that you make sure that you're not making factually inaccurate statements.

I don't think being able to see the number of queries you've made in the past ten minutes is at all unreasonable.
