I stumbled upon a region a while back before I went back inactive that I believe had either sent me a telegram or posted an ad here in Gameplay. Anyway, the region did a lot of roleplay from the eyes of the citizens instead of the government and I found that interesting. Now that I'm available again, I'd like to do some roleplay like that. Or, if anyone knows what region I'm talking about and wants to link me that'd be fine as well.

They roleplayed from the point of view or average joes, criminals and even celebrities. Hopefully this rings a bell to someone.

You could try Greater Olympus as we have a variety of roleplay themes, rather than just the usual conflict RP's.

You could try something like that in The Coalition of Democratic Nations. While we mostly roleplay with our nations or governments, you could try to open an RP on the NS Forums and invite others to play a character in your scenario.

The Commonwealth of Crowns has all that, but unfortunately right now we're in a bit of a snag with activity. Our activity dies down in the summer but we have plenty of active members otherwise and a lot of people take a lot of care with their RPing. I'm pretty much always active, as is my deputy and at least one other member. We have two RPs currently going that you could take part in. If you're okay with a slump in activity, and the occasional day without a post, you could be a good fit here.

As a side note you do kinda have to be a monarchy though.

I'm looking for a fantasy-themed world, preferably a world that isn't Earth or is based on any popular/classic fantasy either. I want the setting to be unique and perhaps completely player-created. I'd like a place with a map, a place where magic exists ( an where the rules around using magic aren't a thousand pages long), and some place where the people tend to take their stories seriously or at least, semi-seriously.

Also I'd like a region that either uses the NS forums to RP or an off-site. In the case of regions that use an off-site, please don't have obnoxious themes to your forums as I've seem some themes that literally hurt my eyes MOST IMPORTANTLY....I want a region that is active and by that I mean: I want a region that is currently engaged in at least two RP stories between players and players post in said stories more than twice a week. If your player base can't do that then please don't advertise to me because I will get bored quickly.

If your region sounds right for me, please telegram me as I may not get back to this particular thread right away and your invites will get lost

Not sure if you've found a place but consider checking out my region, nationstates world regions. We have a Asia where the Philippines are currently open. We are a Modern Tech RP that could use some good new players to help us out. We also have our own UN-style international organization as well as others such as a red-cross inspired organization. Also our community allows for players to also use multiple nations or puppet nations (certain terms and conditions apply) so if you're also interested in playing a European, African, Middle East, or American nation you have that opportunity as well.

The only thing we don't have that you've requested is a regional government (i assume that is what you meant by "available positions") as we aren't in need of one. We have an admin team for our forums and that's about it. Anywho, please give us a consideration

We are going to be doing a space rp next, after our current earth one. RGBN is the place to be for RPs, and a fun time! We don't have the arbitrary rules of most RMBs.
