Coldonia is not explicitly themed around Slavs or Eastern Europe but I recommend you take a look at it anyway. We are set on a fictional continent and most of our countries are inspired by real-life ones. We formed our small region about five months ago and mostly do a lot of RP on our regional message board.

the New West Indies might be the right region for you. We have an active roleplay that is set in the year 2154, but you can take a look at it yourself by checking our rmb where the roleplay mainly takes place. You can also check our map, its a custom made map of the real world, that we haven't reset since the current roleplay was set up back in 2018. Our Roleplay is mainly peaceful but has wars from time to time which tend to be more local than escalating to world war like conflicts all the time.

We also have a discord where most community related things apart from the roleplay take place. And a democratic regional government if you are interested in that.

By realistic, I mean that the regional map is a map of the world, and that I would be able to RP as a RL nation.

Hello there fellow NationStates player. I am The Nippon Teikoku. I have been playing this game since 2017. I have been in regions as large as Europe, as communist as The Pacific, and as rotten as the New West Indies. After wandering the NS region landscape for 2 years and being utterly dis-satisfied with them all, I have decided to try my hand at creating my own region. While I admit the region is brand new and doesnt have so much as a ruleset yet, I am hoping that those interested in helping build a region will help me to structure the region.
I am hoping to make a region that can bring together people of both sides of the political aisle, such as moderates from both left and right, and bring us together in the spirited past-time of roleplaying. My hope is to create an active, decently sized region with a passionate and expansive roleplay. Im hoping that those who read this will join me in helping to make a great region that believes in free speech and honest discussion, a luxury in todays world.

A Taco Archipelego (the siteside RP of 10000 Islands) checks a lot of boxes. We've got pretty good writers (though we tend to lean into shorter fast-paced posts when tensions rise), a great mechanics system, and a space-themed sci-fi background. We are a more sandbox RP where players can do whatever they want (to an extent) in relation to the storyline however, rather than having mods prod the RP in a particular direction.
