I don't think it would be quite what you are looking for, but my home region (Ersetum) is something of a late Victorian era steampunk/schizo/fantasy. Think Studio Ghibli's Castle in the Sky, but with multiple species. Again, that falls behind by almost two centuries from what I think you are looking for, but still an option. If by modern you mean very much current day technology, I would recommend somewhere such as the Commonwealth of Liberty—but only if you enjoy a sort of bland and very internal style of roleplay.

Not really any active regional government, only problem is that they don’t RP that much, and therefore the fact that they’re MT doesn’t really matter.

Looking for a MT or PMT (No space and MT/PMT Fantasy is ok as well) world building region with RPs with a non-Earth map. Preferably RPs on NS forums but I probably won't mind off-forums either. Just as long as RPing isn't on the RMB. A Discord chat is a must for me personally and is preferably mature-ish. Democratic government is preferred and please don't recommend me regions that have less then 20 nations or are not active but nothing too big either. I'm not here to add to your nation count thank you.

In terms of what I can bring to your region. I am a 4 years old member of NS with experience in RPing. I have current offices in a active 50+ region as a delegate and other roles so I can potentially add to your government. I have some Paint.net experience as well in drawing tanks etc but that probably isn't important. I can provide proof of all of these if need be. Thank you.

I would recommend taking a look at Ersetum, Mirror World and New West Indies. The first is my own homeland, and we are something of a schizo-Victorian region set in a fictional world with an active community; I know that isn't quite modern tech, but the steampunk sometimes gets close enough. Mirror World is a MT region which is active on their discord primarily, and are an alt-history region. New West Indies is a large MT region which is respectable and very active both on RMB and their Discord. Now my bias will very much edge you to check out Ersetum, but these are just some picks off the top of my head.

The Fifth Sovereign Charter may be just what you're looking for! We're a rather small but active region with a very lively yet (mostly) mature Discord as well as a regularly updated map. We are a PMT region with some fantasy elements that you can engage with as little or as much as you want.

Inferno Stellaria is newer, but our character-based Fantasy RP should be good! And our Discord server is fairly active and full of cool peeps!

My region, The Legionary has Earth RP.
I can see that you wanted it to be MT, but this is industrial.
However, I hope that’s a difference that you can live with, since it’s not such a big time difference.
However, you can also make your own RP’s in The Legionary, they just have to be approved by the senate.
