I revived an old nation just to post this. I am looking to create a new nation where I can flesh out my nation with maps, heraldry, maps, history and then start connecting to other countries. A region with it's own custom maps, and that is not too fast paced.

You should check out Caer Sidi! We're past tech/celtic medieval fantasy. We have a custom map that's about to be rebooted so now's the time to get in!

My region has a cross domentional/ alt history RP. I am a alt history/ future we're the CSA won the civil war ban slavery and thrived up until the 2050's curant year in CC.

• Active role-playing. Preferably either onsite through RMB or telegrams. Discord also works for me. No off-side message boards though, sorry.
• Regions set in the current day
• Regions set in the real world (i.e. Set on planet Earth, fairly realistic history that keeps reasonably in line with 19th-20th century. Of course some deviation is perfectly fine just nothing too outlandish.)
• No requirement to join the WA (Sorry I just detest it with a passion lol)

I know what I am looking for is pretty specific but any help would be much appreciated. Like I say even any individual nations who want to RP are welcome to send a telegram!

Off the top of my head The Versutian Federation does hard MT Discord roleplay but they dont use the Earth map. For a canon set exactly in an alternate Earth you should check out the Earth II thread in II forums though I dont think they do rmb or tg rp.

Mobius is a 15-18th century rp region but it has fantasy elements and requires a nation app. Besides that I dont think there are any 17th-18th century rps active atm but you can always make your own!

Hey! You might be intrested in Janus. Although not set in the "real world" it's fairly realistic, using NS stats for most things, and we use the RMB for IC roleplay, discord for OC communication. We don't ask any WA membership, as several people use puppets instead of main.

Problem is finding a region that my nation would fit in with. So to keep this as short as possible I will get into what I am looking for in a region:

• A reasonable amount of realism without having to actually RP as existing countries

• RP driven more towards diplomacy rather than war

The New West Indies may be a good fit. Our RP mostly takes place on the RMB and a couple threads in this forum. While we do have warfare fairly often, we also engage in diplomacy quite a lot too. One of the threads we have is actually to keep warfare separate from the other types of roleplay that take place on the RMB. Our other roleplay thread is dedicated to an international lawmaking body similar to the United Nations, if you're interested.

Timeline Yankee Spring is definitely the region for you. It is currently being reinstated due to real world responsibilities encroaching. It is set in an alternative world where monarchies reign in Europe, the United States is as destabilize as ever, and the future is uncertain.

International Democratic Union is good for help with GA resolutions (with over 10% of the passed resolutions so far having been written by IDU members, and with three of the six GenSec members resident, we should be, after all...), and has a section in its offsite forum where people -- even if not region members -- can seek assistance with this. Some of our members have experience with issue-writing, too. Roleplay is purely optional.
