- a closed region
- Own map
- offsite forum / discord
- roleplay and worldbuild orientated
- willing to help reintroduce and old player into the world of RP

The Western Isles might fit you. Our map has lots of islands. We have no offsite forum, and you could just send your map application to our founder after you met the requirement. Simple as that.

Interesting, but not what I am looking for. As you all seem to be asian-based, there is not much diversity between nations.

I am still looking for a nation roleplay region without offsite forums or require me to make off-site wiki-pages, with a non-earth map. Use of Discord as primary inter-regional communication is welcome but not necessary. The technological period isn't too important but I prefer Ancient, the 1700s, or early 1900s tech. Fantasy settings are usually fine as well.

Cinderia is a relatively new region which adheres to most of the criteria you mentioned. We currently have no nation based on the UK however but I think we have a lot of redeeming qualities. We employ a power position system that ranks players from superpowers to small powers (great and middle powers in between those). Our map is fully custom and provides players with biomes and resources maps so your location really has significance.

Viranos is MT with significant FanT elements and very limited PMT.

We've got a nice little non-Earth map, although we canned the idea of hard terrain/climate maps. That being said, we try to keep vague areas of similar terrain/climate, if possible, and disallow obviously nonsensical things like a tropical rainforest at the Arctic Circle.

Although we usually intend to RP a decent amount, we're mostly focusing on lots of behind the scenes worldbuilding and lore for now, at least until the map starts filling up more.

Try The Western Isles. Our map has a lot of islands if you like it, though we have no climate or terrain maps in an official sense. You could ask some people in the region to make your terrain maps, but the climate is entirely your decision. It should make sense though.

We are an RP region, but worldbuilding is also an important part of the region itself. It is not a must to RP, though you probably need to post News every so often to indicate that you are active. I and several others prefer worldbuilding, so you aren't alone in that aspect.

Yup, currently longest-serving mod on deck since Melkor retired awhile back. And one of very few Triumvirate of Yut oldies still active on NS. (Alas, most of us are no longer active in NSRP these days. Ah, the good old days of the Arda/Yut shenanigans, the Iraqstan/Shogunate cold war... good times!) So as not to derail the thread though, as I understand things The Local Cluster is a generally FT RP region I've routinely heard good stuff about. Plus it has heavy Mentor involvement as well.

And Amerigo is a land of contrast!

I'm looking for an active RP, diplomacy, map, etc... Realistic region, no fantasy. I have no preference on external or internal forums. And if it's possible themed between 1800's and 1930's, or the Cold War (40's-50's-60's), or the Star Trek universe. If not, well, the theme is not the most important thing for me, is more important for me joining a good region that helps a new NS nation. Thanks!

Having just joined the site and armed with nothing but an 81-page document outlining the very basics of my faction Outcast's Haven, I am looking for a similar FT-region with an emphasis on an MSF or Diamond-Dogs (shout out to MGSV!) type of faction-like 'free military state' roleplay. Usage of Discord would be easier, though it is not necessarily required.
