I've been having trouble finding a region for me, and after some hasty choosing and disappointment, I am beginning to feel down about it.
I seek a region that:

-Is active and has an RP sector
-Preferably no regional maps. #1 reason is because I already have a vision for what my nation is shaped like and regional maps conflict with that.

Ask more questions if need detail.
The two things above are just the highest priority.

• Reasonably active, but freedom to go inactive for a bit - not "oops, I ghosted for four years," but not "you didn't check in this week, bye!" either.
• Good rp sector; primarily nation-based, but some character-based is fine.
• I don't mind off-site forums, exactly, but I'd rather not focus on one to the exclusion of the main NS forums.
• Discord participation not required. (I don't mind if there is one, I just don't want it to be required.)
• Real-world map where not all of America is taken; I really mostly need Louisiana, but Louisiana + Texas + Florida would be ideal.
• Time period/tech level: 19th century. (Preferably 1810s, but I can work with more or less the entire century.)
• OOC-wise not much right of centrist; I'd like to avoid OOC arguments as much as possible.
• IC-wise politics can be anything, though, so long as tolerant of a left-leaning direct democracy.
• Uses (or at least doesn't disregard) NS stats.

And I think that's the long and short of it. Any suggestions?

You might want to check out Alteri Earth, we don't meet all your criteria, we have an Earth map and the US is open. You don't have to be on the discord but it's generally how OOC conversation occurs, we are modern day but you could do flashbacks, we are a non NS stats region but you can use NS stats albeit toned down to your IC pop.

While I don't have the time or energy at present to participate much in a Discord-heavy region, and it's likely to take some time for me to develop the history of Aculiana to the point of Modern Tech, I've dossiered Alteri Earth as a potential future option if no past tech region opportunities become available! Did you say shitposting and banter? I don't want to brag, but 10-20 pages a day full of shitpost regarding peoples' sexualities, peoples' mothers, Slovak politics and the narcotic drug Khat will be available for you to join and participate in. Of course, we shitpost about a lot of things too.

1. Driselbia does not judge you for your voluntary inactivity.
2. We've got both.
3. We've got no off-site forums whatsoever as we think that it is a waste of time.
4. We do have an active Discord but usage it's not forced, although it's recommended.
5. Unfortunately America is taken but getting these states shouldn't be a hard task if you work out a deal with the owner. Trust me, this often gets resolved quickly.
6. Our main lore is based on WWII though, I don't know how that'll work out.
7. Don't really get what you mean there.
8. We're a melting pot of ideologies; we've got fascists and socialists co-existing peacefully.
9. Sorry. No NS stats here- We use the 1936 stats of the countries we have claimed.

2. Unfortunately we do have two regional maps, but the other one is a fantasy-based one but that can easily be solved by adding the shape of your country to the map, eliminating the issue.

I suppose I should add "with a forum". RMB-based RP just gets a bit too chaotic for me, I'm afraid.
