I'm looking for a region that has FTL travel, a map, ideally not an off-site forum and is fairly active. I have put a very simple gist of my nation in my signature but I will flesh it when I have more material to work with the lore of the region.

Well relatively to the rest of NS, Alvaria is a new region.

We are English speaking and usually have spots in government open, but you would need to show your ability and trustworthyness, we have elections for Parliament every month and therefore the executive cabinet is usually restructed pretty often.

We also have a RP centred around the 1870s if you're interested, an off-site Discord if you have that.

The New West Indies would be a good fit. We speak English, and – most importantly – we have a thorough regional government that emphasizes executive competence and complex lawmaking (in our legislature, the General Assembly). You can attain an executive position or propose your own laws in the GA – even as a regular citizen!

I would prefer a more classical historical setting, but I’d consider later eras, too. I also have some experience with helping to run regions and with mapmaking, so I’d be interested in founding a region as well if there are other like-minded people. Any suggestions?
