My region, Confederacy of Allied States might be good for you. We are generally a late MT, early PMT region. Full PMT is fine, though I don't think our regional canon would accept you. Regional rps of that tech level would though.

Could try Greater Olympus, since the region allows some PMT technology but is set in the current day.

I'm not quite sure how PMT my nation is, but I guess I'll give some more thought.

Maybe I could start a PMT role playing region, but that sounds like it would be a lot of work.

Hello,

Am looking for a region with these features

-A Regional world map
-A very active RMB
-MT/PMT Tech
-No off-site forums (these are slow as fuck)
-My nations is ruled by Squids and we have Ditto, so the region must tolerate that.

The Coalition of Democratic Nations is an active region with a RolePlay community with an Earth map and a simple citizenship application.

Before I start I want to clarify the reason I'm posting here is because I'm not currently roleplaying and all the boards about roleplaying are in-character so idk where to go. Sorry.

Anyway, I was thinking of making another nation that would be set in a sort of paranormal but still Modern Tech regions, like the tone of HP Lovecraft or other such cosmic horror deals? Do people have regions for that? Is that a niche in the community?

Thanks for reading and sorry if I posted on the wrong board, this is the first forum post I've made and I tried to get it right.

I'm not aware of any region with a focus on Lovecraftian RPing, though there are a few that have Lovecraftian elements in their RP's.

The Imperial Fatherland is a new region that has your criteria as its long-term goals. We're not quite there yet obviously, but we have a somewhat detailed plan to get to that stage.

I'd like a region that will roleplay on the forums with me about things that aren't just politics. Things like concerts from bands/artists from each other's nations, celebrity life from each nation or even civilian life. I don't mind political RP but I'm more into capturing the vibe of what goes on within the nation and not the nation's leaders all the time.

I know our region Greater Olympus has a fashion show RP going on right now. We also are very inclusive of different Role-Play types and styles. I personally like being able to get away from the politics every once and a while!

We do a lot of that in European Union. We frequently have cultural events from art to fashion, a Eurovision-style song contest (EuroVoice), sporting events, and celebrity culture (although Keeping Up With The Kligenbergs is currently on hiatus).

Not sure whether by 'forums' you mean onsite or offsite - we RP on our offsite forums.
