Being helpful I'd suggest providing more information about your region, and why people should join (such as what they can do if they do join, that they can't do elsewhere). Loads of regions post adverts here, and they generally don't result in anyone moving to their region - it might be better to go for the more traditional telegram recruitment of recently-founded nations in the feeders.

With only two member nations after only a few days, the setting up of a government structure is still being considered. That being said, I'm not totally into RP. So I'm not going to pretend to have a war all D&D style. Powertropolis is forging its own path here in nation states.

Powertropolis will do it whatever it wants to. Don't join my region, then. As for the news in Powertropolis:

It's have disdain for the Winter Olympics day in Powertropia! The Olympics are a rather large pain in the ass of the Gods.

They could snuff out the flame with their thoughts but the mortals from other nations don't deserve to die just because their event leads to rather annoying traffic and loser douchebags who drink too much and yell in the neighbourhood of the Gods late into the night.

So today, and for the next two weeks the Gods will tolerate this crap.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. Tact is clearly in short supply in this place, I'm glad you have some.

If nations choose to live with the Gods, which is really a way to give God status to mortals, then they can help to form the governance structure of Powertropolis. Also, if the Gods think anyone is being a jerk then they will be executed by pinprick.

I'm not sure what goes on elsewhere, that's why I'm starting from scratch.

So, for this region I am planning on making a map for new nations to claim a piece of.

I really was looking for a sort of "sim" nation type game when I found Nation States.

The map will be for members to plan their cities, towns, and highways.

Any suggestions on anything else that may be cool?

So, Powertropolis now has a map:



We are now deciding where to place the Capital City.

I recommend that the Capital City be a place under the jurisdiction of no one nation in the region.

Clydswidth is now going to stake a claim to some territory on the Powertropolis map.

As Powertropolis was founded by two twin brother Gods and Clydswidth was the founding nation this is the gist of how things went down.

Refugees of a war in their original region, the Pacific, the twin brothers Jamus and Clyde sailed for many, many weeks eventually finding themselves in the region which is now known as Powertropolis.

The brothers, who were the decendents of the Gods, some say the sons of Max Barry, had promised those who fled the Pacific with them that they would found their city on a hill.

They chose the easternmost peninsula of the large northwest island. They named this island Clydswidth after the brother Clyde. The city they founded, the capital of Clydswidth, they named Jamusatropolis afther brother Jamus.





Surrounding the newly founded city were four hills and many cliffs which provided for excellent defence of the city, although the surrounding countryside was, at the point, uninhabited and wild.

The City was supplied with ample water from the many sacred springs found nearby and Jamus was fed by ample game and grain grown the in the many pastures nearby.

The two brother, their wives, children, friends, and other refugees immediately began work on a wall to surround the city. Outside the walls land was cleared and ploughed for the coming spring.



The Refugees had their new motherland. Clydswidth had been founded as had Powertropolis. The descendents of Gods quickly spread word about their new region and invited any civilized nation to come and share in the bounty the land and sea provided.
