Pretty sure I still hold the NS record at four months, excluding when GCR's are newly created of course.

Is this time from 'citizenship' or first interaction/nation creation within the GCR? Citizenship qualifications differ from region to region. Just curious.

Also, Raven, I have always found JAL's coups to be derivative and cliché.

For me it would be both; TSP used to be incredibly open and I became a citizen the same day I moved a nation in region.

My guess is your predecessor was around that time also. It may have been a couple months longer, it has been so long now I can't remember. I was the first of the new generation in TSP to come in and try to shake things up. I came in slightly before the coup (everyone else showed up afterwards) and didn't become delegate till three weeks or so after the coup was over. I have a slight feeling it would be pretty close between us for fastest rise.

I could give you an time gap between me joining TSP and being elected delegate if NShistory wasn't broken (anyone know why that is, btw, it worked a couple days ago). I of course had never held any position in a major region or organization before, whereas you were actually in your league. So your rise was probably more legitimate than mine. :P

Thank you for the quick reply. Yes four months is impressive.

I know UPS Rail was elected Delegate of TNP within 6 months and Gracius Maximus had control of Pixiedance within just a couple of months of his involvement in that region, but that is sort of an exception.

I just checked the date by looking at the discussion in technical where I said I didn't know anything about feeders which lead to SB suggesting I join TSP. That was 5 months on the nose from when I became delegate of TSP. So Bel does beat me!

Still an unusually quick period, and I did have the good luck of having the frontrunner drop out leaving an open field. Though I suppose you did benefit indirectly from Sedge's coup as it led to SB taking a step back.

But if coups did count, how long did it take Sedge to endotart his way into the delegacy from inception? That was pretty quick, for someone who was not a citizen, not a legal delegate who went rogue, not a council member suddenly getting endos then going rogue etc just a complete outsider. :P

California Invaded!

Postby DEN NEWS AGENCY » Sun Oct 11, 2015 10:18 pm

DEN, defeating defenders and neutralizing natives since 2004

As fossils learned how to talk again and multitudes of defenders hung out in the Technical forum with update around the corner,
the combined might of DEN and The Black Hawks seized the moment and invaded California, ending a delegacy of 688 days.

The following soldiers rode forth victoriously:

DEN

Field Marshal Gest
Major Vandoosa
Sergeant North Pacific Spy
Corporal Liddell Hart
Corporal Ridus

With assistance from Lieutenant Ever-Wandering Souls of The Black Hawks

History will record the DEN as the most notorious, well-organized, and well-disciplined raider army ever to grace the battlefield.

Well, when we heard all the updaters that were online and in IRC right now were on strike, we decided to throw something together with all the folks online on our side talking about the changes. The jump was really quite early. I imagine the number of defenders online could easily have stopped it. But that's what we get for going in with zero planning.

Nah, but if DEN continues incessantly trolling the entire game and defenders offer zero relief, then admins might come around. Let's find out.

Well raiders have been "incessantly trolling the entire game" for 10+ years and the admins actually came around in 2006 to abolish the griefing rules to our benefit, I might add.
