Last night, we watched our very own Duluth Bulldogs have a perfectly fair and equitable match with the Racoon City RacoonSharks, who are themselves a highly respectable team. After much discussion, there were several members of the Council that decided to step down. As you all know, one's ability to commit to NS activities changes over time. Felt, Jay, Valk, and Rai have decided to do so and we sincerely thank each of them for their years of service to the region and to the Council. They will be missed deeply. With this major change comes opportunity for us. The Council prides itself and doing everything we can to support you all. You are the reason that we are here. One way to do that is to bring up awesome people onto the Council. It is one of the highest and most prestigious privileges in all of NS. But being on the Council is not about glory or pride. It is about stepping up carry the torch of so many wonderful players before us. With TBH's history comes a responsibility and the Council takes that responsibility seriously. We welcome the following Hawks into the Council and are so excited to see what they bring to the region in their new roles.
First, Rachael. Enough cannot be said about how much work and passion she brings to our region. She will serve as the new Overseer of the Blade corps. She already does so much with integrating new members and helping to lead raids. I am sure she will seamlessly fill in this position and rock everyone's feathers off. Additionally with this new position, she has been promoted to Major. Congrats to Major Rachael!
Secondly, Lady Dominator. Dom goes about his business with subtlety and grace. He is always pushing the region to do longer and faster tag runs. He will now help push our larger operations further as the new co-Overseer of Talon. I know his versatility and creative mind will do great here as we strive to regularly conduct killer raids.
As for the rest of the Council, Souls will remain as the Overseer of Terra and Jakker (hey, that's me) will shift to serving as the co-Overseer of Talon alongside Dom. Our hope is that we as a team will work to increase activity within the region, get innovative initiatives going, and bring on more new members to our region.
I now look to all of you, Hawks, to join the Council in bringing as much as we can to the region. We are a community full of leaders. TBH will soar as far as you all allow it to. This is a new day for TBH and with all of your help, we can make this the start of an even brighter future. Congrats to Rachael and Dom!
