Ah, I bothered to check the OFO forums now. Good on Benjabobaria for stirring activity every so often. The Legion used to go months without doing anything back when I was in Osiris.

Minor announcement: TBH's new forums are now live. Some minor features and cosmetic improvements are still on the way, but all the functional bits are there, and most of the rest is!

How to access the new TBH forums if you already had an account:

1) Go to https://www.forum.the-black-hawks.org/
2) Go to "Login"
3) Select "forgot password" option
4) Input your username and email from the old forums
5) Follow the link in your email (may be in spam) and use the link+supplied temp password to log in
6) Go to your user control panel, "profile" section, "edit account settings," and use the temp password to set whatever permanent password you'd like

You will also need to re-upload your avatar. It should be visible on your own profile, but you will need to upload it again for it to be visible to others. Good news is, the size restriction is set almost double that of the old forums, so you have a little wiggle room. Also check your sig to make sure all the bbcode is good.

I’m tempted to just ignore you, but I’m a little silly sometimes, so I’ll continue to give you solid, thorough answers.

Sometimes one of our young CPL’s tries their hand at triggering. Impulss did last night.

Eventually our young triggers move from trying just a few to get the hang of things up to trying a decent sized run. Last night, Impulss decided to try 30, which was a very cool step.

Usually we do ask who can make it to a raid, to get an idea of numbers. 6 people rsvp’d to last night, which is borderline - we can do two groups from one trigger with that, but we can also do one runnwith solid numbers where defenders are less of an issues. Two groups is also a little much to handle for someone still training in their triggering skills to handle. Sometimes we plan two separate runs at once as another option, though that actually requires a *third* trigger in the case of one run being done by a CPL, becuase our policy requires triggers in training be directly observed/supervised by a mentoring officer. Actually, that was the plan last night - also have a second run, a training run, but the Private didn’t show. At that point, 15 mins before update, easier to roll the groups together.

Sometimes people who didn’t RSVP end up making it, and you have extra people joining the fun

As last time, I’m deeply sorry that we’re not invading enough native regions for you, Tupe. Once again, you’re welcome to take a break from chasing (or watching, from what I hear from other defenders) to come show us how things are done. My deepest apologies in the mean time.

In the mean time, though, I’d like to congratulate Impulss for joining our growing body of new triggers. I know a lot of our senior triggers have been without time or internet this summer, and you all have been doing a wonderful job of stepping up and becoming our next generation of leaders. By the time folks like Felt and LD are back in action, I bet y’all will be giving them a run for their money. The crowd here should watch out - I know Dawn is going to be joining this group soon, and pretty soon folks like McChimp and Rach are going to be up there with everyone from LD to Aquila in speed and length. I’ve been really proud of this group of rising stars, and I only expect that to continue.
