We're Updating Our Piracy Policy

While the GDPR is a Raiding law, we are taking this opportunity to clarify and apply our piracy policy to everyone, no matter how you're aligned.

Here's a quick summary of our changes:

>We're being more no more or less specific on how we select regions to be raided, and how long we raid them for
>We're being no more or less specific about your delegate preferences and your native rights
>These non-changes will not affect the way you get raided
>You do not need to take any action, unless you want to stop getting raided

If you continue to get raided on or after May 25, 2018, you are agreeing to these terms.

I'd like to congratulate the wider masses of defending for finally showing up on the field in full force after quite the drought! 35+ defenders, now that's a decent sized force. Pulled at least five flags from Texas even, whew. All stops pulled out, and on a night when our endocount dropped thanks to the Osi transition going down. Now, our RO's were kinda sad that they didn't get to do any repelling. They were excited and on edge. We were hoping we'd get to face some serious defending.

Instead, I guess y'all changed your mind about the value of libbing SC liberated dead regions with no natives left, that raiders are barely even putting effort into. Decided to stop using that as an excuse to not lib, and go for it! Hey, no love lost for those bastards.

Though I gotta say, when you pulled out all the stops to go overkill on the ugly stepchild of raiding's operation 4ish days after they ended it and headed home, I logged into Harenhime hoping that this apparent reversal of policy regarding libbing SC liberated dead regions with very few natives left would mean it was my chance to do some hammerin'....

But alas, Iran stands unchallenged. Not even a handful of folks switched to take a jab at it! It's got no del! Just me as an RO!

See, y'all used to love to say (before the TGW thread died for these past two months) that TBH was "low energy" and "sad" for shorter runs. But where's the energy to switch and take a jab back at Iran? What makes one dead region a must-defend, while another is "not worth the effort?" If it's because "those folks" are all sorts of nasty,, understandably leading to greater enthusiasm, do y'all only pull out all the stops for defenses against "that sort" these days? What's your comeback when they laugh and mock at liberating only after they'd held it for over a month and left on their own terms, natives removed?

I admit, when TBH held Iran it wasn't that big of a failure for fendas. We lost a battle, who cares? But now that Yeet Clan has taken it, it's an embarrassment for defenders. Sure, maybe TBH put up more of a fight against the defenders, but when a organization full of noobs that can't defend their own allies from an obvious attack (*cough* NO LILY *cough*) can take a region that defenders can only hold for a few days, it's embarrassing.
We need to put up a fight in Japan.

Heh getting 40 jumpers online is an impressive feat for either side. Though raiders have always had the greater numbers, and particular of late defender sphere has shrunken. I don't see how they could get 40+ online unless a number of the independent GCRs helped.
