Statement On Unacceptable Behavior

From the desk of the Council of Hawks

The Black Hawks, on top of being a powerful military organization, are a region of principles to which we consistently strive to adhere. Included among these principles are the need for our members to feel safe from out-of-character harm or threats thereof, a refusal to be taken advantage of, and a no-nonsense approach to discrimination. In accordance with these values, it is not possible for The Black Hawks to maintain a working relationship with The Roman Empire under their current leadership. We do not take a decision like this lightly and will remain open to work with TRE in the future under new leadership that shares our values of building a healthy, caring environment.

The termination of relations with TRE is a side effect of an investigation recently concluded by The Council of Hawks. We were provided substantial evidence by an anonymous member of TRE proving that these individuals have engaged in out-of-character behavior which is serious and unforgivable in the eyes of the Council. Much of the evidence provided is directed at members of our region, and we wholeheartedly refuse to provide any service to those who demonstrate to our members -- and the Gameplay community as a whole -- the level of disrespect shown in these logs. This evidence is beyond unsuitable for this forum (as well as any further detail about the contents that we can provide here), but will be distributed by the Council through third-party means upon request.

Following the conclusion of this investigation and in the interest of protecting our members, The Black Hawks are indefinitely refusing to work with any region that allows the players known as Plagentine and Festavo to hold positions of leadership. This course of action is in line with the statement previously made by the Council regarding those responsible for igniting the Predator Scandal, and we will follow precedents set there regarding situations related to this policy.

This statement is the penultimate step taken by the Council in rolling out this information. We have already briefed the leadership of The Roman Empire on our intentions and the evidence behind it, as well as our internal middle leadership and other Gameplay organizations we believe would find this information pertinent. Neither individual has denied the content presented in the evidence nor made any attempt to defend it. The region’s leadership has not yet shown any indication of remorse or a plan to remedy the concerns.

We do not wish to leave any curious party unaware of the full breadth of our reasoning for issuing this statement, so feel free to reach out to the Council for clarification on any aspect of this policy change. Members of The Roman Empire will still be allowed to participate in The Black Hawks and will not be restricted from entry. Our issue lies squarely with the individuals in question: Plagentine and Festavo.
