Large Defender Region Westphalia Occupied!

It's not often that the Hawks get to attack our defender enemies in their home territory. Tonight is the beginning of a delicious break from that sad state of affairs. Westphalia, as its WFE proclaimed until recently, is a proud member of SWORD - the second largest member, to be precise - which is the direct descendant of FORGE. These defender alliances have directly opposed The Black Hawks and other raiders on the battlefield...so you'd really think they'd know better than to leave a member region of theirs with no founder, not even a PW, and a low-endorsement delegate with no endocap at all. Especially after a traitor publicly announced that the region was on our target list at the time he went turncoat.

And yet, they did not. And so, Raiderdom struck. LTN Serboro infiltrated the region from within, setting the stage for a pincer attack executed by most of Raiderdom, in which a small, dirty force struck directly at the same time as a larger, cloaked force struck from the shadows. Though some other defenders guessed the region on which our crosshairs laid, both the region itself and its outside allies were utterly powerless to prevent our assault, and could only watch as raider horde delivered hell to their doorstep.

Thus, the glove has been tossed. Can FORGE, with their many members and allies, and the support of the wider realm of defending, reclaim the homeland of one of their own? Or are those who claim to be the protectors of others unable to protect even themselves? Time will tell. The Black Hawks would like to formally invite any other raiding-inclined nations and regions to join those already supporting our efforts, in what may soon be a face-off to top most others. Let us know you've shown up, and we'll toss you a shout-out in the WFE!
