Ever-Wandering Souls wrote:...Despite remaining “neutral” in the ensuing world war, [the actual Franco]'s Spain sent thousands of volunteers to fight alongside the axis powers. Meanwhile, during and following the Spanish Civil War, la Represión franquista (The Francoist Repression) performed a “cleansing” of political opponents, union leaders, teachers, Freemasons, homosexuals, and other groups it deemed undesirable, in which hundreds of thousands were interned, tens of thousands were executed, and hundreds of thousands more were exiled to France, many of whom would eventually be sent to Nazi concentration camps under the Vichy government....

Besides being of a frankly disgusting root namesake...

Uh huh. Allow me to add:
...No officer ever denied that [mass rape] was a Franco policy. But some argued that even a Red woman was Spanish and a woman." Such reasoning did not prevail. Advancing Nationalist troops scrawled on walls: "Your women will give birth to Fascists!" Beyond the rapes, in town after town, women whose only crime was to be supporters of Popular Front parties had their heads shaved. In a practice borrowed from Italian Fascists, they were then force-fed castor oil (a powerful laxative) and paraded through the streets, sometimes naked or half naked, to be jeered as they soiled themselves.

If you have any humanity in you, you'll rename your silly gameplay ideology to something that doesn't pay tribute to one of the more sickening episodes in the already horrifying history of humans being ghastly to each other.

...The Great Pacific, backed by 2-3 other feeders, their NPO branches in multiple other games, and the allies of their branches in other games, failed to militarily out-pile a bunch of nobody UCR's backed by just one (amazing) feeder, but ultimately won the skirmish nonetheless with a just-in-time delegate return. It won't be the last time these sides meet, for war has now begun.

This series of events and masterful propaganda piece comes within a hair's breadth of making me, an Anarchy native, GA enthusiast, and R/D ignorer par excellence, want to join up. Go git 'em.

To add to the list of reasons to justify TBH’s attack on the NPO’s protectorate; I was asked to spy on Souls for Pergamon, on October 27th ~ when they found out I wanted to apologize to Souls for offenses I made towards him.

October 27th - that was when you were still Bradley, identity unknown. To us, at least - if they “found out you wanted to apologize” though, that means not unknown to them. Interesting. So instead of informing TBH of an undercover player in their ranks, Perg asked said player to spy on TBH, yet again?

We expected these acts to continue as Perg was reinstated to Consul, but I didn’t expect such fast and easy proof. Will the Emperor deny knowledge again this time? How does TP justify this act of espionage against an, at the time, party they’d specifically agreed not to spy on?

The Order was aware of who I was since the first week of October, since I was trying to rejoin NPO so I could rejoin NSGP with a solid cover. Why they didn’t let me rejoin, I can understand. Why they didn’t expose me after denying me reentry into The Order, I don’t know.

I spoke to Pergamon earlier today about the NPO involving itself with you, when Cormac claimed that Feux and AMOM had enlisted your help. Pergamon responded that the NPO isn't seeking aid from you and doesn't need disgraced players.

Either he lied directly to me, or you're lying about this, Block.

Evidence?
PACIFICA STAND STRONG

Senator Emeritus of The Pacific - Ret. Regent of the New Pacific Order

"The only war that matters is the war of the Feederite Class against the Userite. UCR Organizations and Cabals that befoul GCR with their presence, disguised as ruling elite within them, must be removed and their power must be broken. This is the ultimate imperative of the Revolutionaries true to the GCR and the Pacifics, which have nothing to lose but the chains from Userite oppression."

No disagreement there, but I think he also has a strong bias against Block to temper his bias against the NPO. I'd personally trust what he says.

He hates / dislikes / has issues with Block almost as bad as he does with NPO... By all means, I would consider him a valid third party, since the three sides dislike each other greatly.

Neutrality doesn't entail universal hate. A person who is truly neutral has no stake in the contestants.

Cormac on the other hand by hating every side here acts out of pure self-interest by obtaining gain from his enemies' conflict.

I'm happy to receive the evidence - by telegram - as a third party, but for the record, I haven't yet.

Not going to have much time for this until later tonight either. Thanksgiving and all.

I'd have thought Fratt would be better suited than Cormac. Very neutral, doesn't like posting in GP and won't spread it around with added gossip and drama.

Speaking of a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” mentality that’s been going around recently: It’s well-documented that Cormac is going to say whatever expresses his dislike for the Order the most. That being said, for him the situation seems convenient in the sense that right about now he requires yet another thing to pacify his weekly GamePlay gossip and drama needs.

In which case, I say: Happy posting!

But of course the one with the hate boner is totally gonna look at the evidence without using it for political gain in the open. Totally a great idea.

Eventually this would have come to light, but only without the totally trustworthy pure at heart Cormac, who is the shining paragon of good will, who totally is a neutral third party at all because he's a farking citizen of the affected polity, instead of someone who is in power in another region with diplomatic ties to both the NPO and Osiris, and would have wisely let those in Osiris instead of a citizen who isn't in government make the shot.

10/10, good evulz, y'all.
