Cool report! I like how it has the quarantine theme.

I found this thread after reading about the hagfish controversy in like 3 diff places (which I suggest not looking up on urban dictionary because gag face). That report writer seems skilled but focused way too much on attack/offense and against rhetoric in which raiders or invaders have been characterized a certain way. The role play elements of raider and defender lend themselves to certain characterizations. In the past raiders have been self describing as Sith etc but have also self created themes of like magical ponies or could possibly do other such anti-typical themes. There is a lot to play with if going with type or against type.

Here's the thing, I am not in TGW but I've enjoyed their reports a lot and also really like the Dragone Age theme because of the game. Also details like dorkspawn and the blight. Nothing stops TBH from rebranding as something more creative and heroic if you want to play against type or trying out the heroism that is naturally attached to the defender lifestyle because of actions like saving regions and protecting etc. I've also used the term fenda bc while someone else could try to use it negatively against me it's always been a cute shortcut for cute defenders.

Finally, several people have told me IC vs OC but aren't taking their own advice. In the battle between good and evil, light and dark, order and chaos, etc - there's going to be unflattering imagery used and has been used. I'd like to put a moratorium on the word naive being used in or around me for all time but I'm not going to mods for it because that's ridiculous. Very few people find stories without conflict and sides as interesting hence why some of us are on here. Real life too calm or pleasant lol.

Also The Honest Defender issue was that it was poorly written, repetitive drivel and the volume and associated TGs sent to individuals constituted a miasma of spam, flamebait and the T word that I'm not sure if I'm allowed to use. Tacky let's say.

Here's the nice thing about the current report - it focuses on what the raiders did and has a storytelling aspect instead of fixating on the defenders. The best stories are those that focus on their main characters in interesting and unique ways.

Menthu, Horus, and Sokar, representing war and the undead, convene to discuss justice for Egypt

From the time of Ἀλέξανδρος ὁ Μέγας, the Greeks have conquered and subdued the people of Egypt. Horus, protector of the Pharaoh, fighter of evil, sought justice and righteousness for his people, and enlisted the aid of Sokar (whose realms include agricultural, craftsmanship, and the underworld) and Menthu (a great warrior-nomad god) in this quest.

With news that the residents of an impressive Acropolis had lost faith in their guardians, allowing them to fade away, the time was ripe to strike.

Together, the trio raised an army of men and monsters both, landing it within the walls of the fortress and taking its inhabitants by surprise. Though much of the army did not make it through the fight, they fought gloriously, and victory was swiftly achieved.

A challenge stands today to the remaining inhabitants: call upon your gods to save you. Though your internal strife has weakened them, they have not yet fully ceased to exist. Will you fight for your homeland, or run from the might of Egypt?

Time shall tell, and time is something we have plenty of.

On the Minor update of Aug. 13, the forces of three militaries struck at the region of Acropolis, whose founder has apparently quit following a revolt by the members of the region forcing more power to be given to the delegate. The decision to have a powerful delegate seems to be one that is now regretted.
