When TBH was approached for this raid, some parties across the multiverse would have hoped their relationships with the region would be enough to deter our participation. For Command, there was no hesitation.

Raiders are a uniquely predictable group in gameplay: We raid things. If you don't want to be raided, you better keep your delegacy unreachable, or you better treat us with respect. Many regions have mistaken their own ability to keep their delegacies unreachable, or their massive Security Council power, as an umbrella with which they can shield everyone they care about with no repercussions for their actions. Since November 2022, The Modern Gameplay Compact has banned members of The Black Hawks from Security Council authorship or nomineeship, effectively blacklisting one of the most historic raider groups in history from further recognition. While we do not speak for the purposes of the raid by VULPINE overall, it can be taken as a direct response to these restrictions that we were so willing to cut in to Europe.

We are well aware that this action may lead to further actions against our region, to this we remind our enemies about how fruitless wars against raider regions truly are. If the powers that be decide that it is time to punish us by repealing one or both of our Condemnations, we will rest easy in the knowledge that the body no longer cares about the safety of its member regions, and has fully fallen to the fruitless efforts to de-legitimize raiding.

Since On Alignment, there has been a noticeable uptick in attempts to cast raiding off as an undesirable action, and yet we continue to flourish. This period of time others attempt to classify as "Grave FA mistakes" has only led to more wins and greater legacies for numerous raiders, along with a new generation growing up knowing what it truly means to be a raider. To our allies, may you continue to stand by us and share in our glory. To our enemies, I hope you are prepared to explain to your friends why they have been thrust in to the center of the battlefield

Raiderdom creates the drama, the stories, the engine of change within NationStates.

When giants like Europe aren't safe from infiltration by sly foxes, it must make some wonder who else isn't safe. I also look forward to the strongly worded letters and any potential changes in Europe's culture from this historic raid.

It's funny because by giving badges to raiders you could show natives that they are present and dangerous, which would lead to more security. But no, you've got to feed them lies and deceipt about protection by defenders, when you can't even acknowledge that protection is needed.

German Social Democracy, the "so-called" raider, failed to remove power from the Governor as an Executive delegate. This was never in the cards. The only way Europe will fall into raider hands is if the Governor and Successor(s) CTE.

The plan for the very start was a one-off night of partying, and since you weren't in the Ops server I'll let you know that partying indeed happen when we saw the ejections start rolling in.

Sometimes, the consequences of actions are very easily foreseeable. If you stay up until 3 am when you have to be awake at 6 am, don’t be surprised when you are tired the next day. If you punch a guy on the street, don’t be surprised when they punch back. Generally, if you fuck around be prepared to find out.

Other times, the consequences are less foreseeable. Tonight the hawks experienced one such consequence. During her time in Europe she was expecting to receive many poorly effective attempts at consequences for her short lived terror, but many of those had failed to materialize as it seemed feeders had finally given up on even trying to get raiders to stop hitting their allies. Unfortunately for Aleena however, this would not save her from someone’s wraith. In a rather unexpected twist though, it was not her dictatorship that had angered this person but rather her choice of lunch.

You see, in the lead up to that faithful update, Aleena and many of her friends including Vleerian and Penny had decided to try some local cuisine. They had tried frog legs at a local French restaurant. For a while this seemed fine until…

“HELP! HELP! I HAVE BEEN TURNED INTO A FROG” Penny screamed a mere week after the lunch

Obviously this attracted the attention of her fellow hawks as a bird suddenly turning into a frog is not an everyday occurrence.

“Wu- how does that even happen?” Asked rabbit

“Yes, this is quite confusing, I don’t remember you possessing this magic penny?” Aleena said

While the hawks were all scratching their heads questioning why Penny had suddenly become an amphibian one by one they all quickly joined her.

“Well, This isn’t what I expected when I got out of bed this morning” Rudak said

“Hmm no, this is nowhere near as much fun as being a fox” Aleena commented

Then, a thundering voice announced “Hello hawks. I am sure you are wondering why you have been transformed. Well you see I am the frog god, and I am not particularly fond of those who eat my subjects, so I’ve taken the decision to make an example out of you. The only way you will be getting out of this is by winning a race. Good luck.”

“Ok, so next time we’re getting greek” Destiny said.

“Nevermind that, how are we supposed to win a race as a bunch of frogs!” Vanthalis asked.

“I mean, the frog never did specify that it had to be won fairly” Rudak said with a smirk “so it’s very simple, we just sabotage all the other racers' cars. We have to win if we’re the only ones that can actually move!”

And so, the frogs set out sabotaging car after car. After meeting up with some friends from the brotherhood of malice as Vleerian had suffered a similar fate, they got to work cutting breaks, ruining transmissions, and other car things that I assume would impact their ability to race. Alex ended up doing most of the heavy lifting as they had eaten Italian while in Europe.

When race day came and the starting gun fired, all non-raider racers found themselves unable to get their cars to move an inch, while the raiders with great difficulty managed to move and maneuver their cars just barely well enough to cross the finish line. One by one they each transformed back to their old selves and ended off their adventure with one simple statement said in unison:

“Remind me to never trust french food again”

This Hawk is something of an enigma, as he is the first organic, non ferrous being to ever be coated from talon to beak in rust. Due in large part, to his numerous extended periods of 'hibernation'.

However, this glaring issue was merely a roadblock for said Hawk to conquer so he could soar the World alongside his fellows once more. Accompanied by his compatriot Hawks and a scaled Dragon peaking out of her Lair they set out on their mission. The rust was clearly evident as, despite a lack of Bird Watchers present, the elder Hawk still missed the landing more than once. Some may see that as failure, but that just allowed for the rust to shake away at a faster pace.

Flying through the darkness of the early winter morning, both Hawk and Dragon alike swooped down and plastered posters all over the World. Once light started to shine over the horizon, the once rusted Hawk was shown in a new light, the rays of the sun shining through his now clear and crisp feathers, he was back in top form and ready to show off his tail to the ever present Bird Watchers that sought to ruin their fun.
