I supported the PRL during the Stujenske coup and cheered when the NPO/"NLO" was defeated in Lazarus. Now I find myself on the other end, supporting Cormac, Tim, Koth, etc in Osiris.

That's because at the end of the day, I don't pick my side based on sovereignty, democracy, or any of the fake facets we have in this game. I pick my side based on who I feel comfortable being alongside. I've had OOC interactions with nearly everyone involved in this, and I chose the side with the least toxicity in my mind. That's it. I don't care what labels that puts on me, or what it does to my reputation.

If reputation is what I cared about, I'd be staying out of this shit.

You do seem to care a lot about feeling morally superior and smug, though. Good for you!

I've been a raider for nearly my entire time in Gameplay, and you're accusing me of "caring a lot about feeling morally superior"?

As for feeling smug, yeah I'm guilty of that sometimes, but I don't "care a lot about feeling smug". I don't even know what that means, to be honest.

Given that Revert was neutral at the time Lazarus' statement was posted, and has since joined the so-called "opposition," and given that Zaolat has been neutral all along and declared his neutrality here, does the Delegate of Lazarus plan to issue a retraction and apology for this?

Revert may have joined the "opposition," but he is still Osiran. I won't stand by and watch him be libeled because you couldn't do some basic fact checking. I wonder why the "opposition" hasn't stood up for him, or stood up for Zaolat for that matter.

As I said before Sea Lion, it was taken care of in private. If Zaolat wanted a big public spectacle out of it he'd have said so.

I will note that Revert was also libeled, so I hope you have privately apologized to him as well. If they're content with private apologies, accompanied by correction when Funkadelia is available, then so be it. I just want to make sure Osirans aren't libeled by Lazarus without correction.

After I posted my statement, Jesus Whale sent me this TG:

Hallo Loftegen.
Thank you very much for your statement, it means a lot to me with the amount of support I've received.
That being said, Zaolat is sitting out the situation due to RL issues and Revert is with us, just wanted to clear that up.
Once again, thank you.
-JW

I replied with this:
JW:
Ah, my bad. Anyway, whatever help we can provide, you are welcome to. You and your supporters are also welcome to use Lazarus as a base of operations, and (heaven forbid) as a new home if things don't go your way. If there is anything else I can do or say that you think might be helpful, let me know.
Loftegen

Then this a few moments later:
Is Revert being with you common knowledge, or a secret that still needs keeping?
Loft

To which JW replied this:
Just saw this sorry.
I believe Ainocra just let the cat out of the bad on the Osiris RMB, so now we wait for Tim and Cormac to flip out.

To me, it seems seems Rev had joined the "opposition" before I posted my statement, and my lumping him in with your fellow-travellers was a fortuitous accident that helped keep his cover.

Regarding Zaolat, lumping him in with your cabal of cronies was an unfounded assumption on my part: I assumed, wrongly, that since you had made him a regional officer, he was in cahoots with you. To him, I apologize. You, on the other hand, can take your moralistic grandstanding and stick it where the sun don't shine. :p

Even before Revert joined the opposition, he was presumed neutral as he had not yet been reached by either side. Your statement was just plain wrong, no matter how you try to spin it to look better for yourself and Lazarus.

He was never a Regional Officer, he was and is listed on the WFE as a Guardian because he is neutral. We continue to trust him to protect Osiris in some kind of freak emergency involving neither party in this conflict, and not to exceed the Guardian endorsement limit.

The problem is that you assumed anything and put it in a formal statement released on behalf of your region before fact checking it. Your assumptions were wrong, plain and simple, and Lazarus' statement therefore looks pretty amateur. When you don't even have a firm enough grasp of the situation to get some basic facts right, should you really be involved at all?

Regional officer, on the RMB as an endorsee, what's the difference? Split hairs much?

Well, you see, one is a delegate or founder appointed position that comes with any number of game-coded regional powers, some of which cost influence to use, that does not even require one be WA, much less maintain any number of endorsements. The other one is an organizational position with no regional power, other than having a larger number of endorsements and generally higher influence levels than the average nation. The only real similarity is that both are a publicly visible position of regional respect.

If you have any more questions about basic gameplay mechanics, ask away.
