This year saw three shining entries competing for the honor of hosting next year's event. These submissions were:

Voting is now open in This Thread for the winner and runners up. This is, as stated, open to those who made a submission, as well as regional representatives. I've decided to still allow folks to apply to be one of those, in hopes we'll get more than three folks voting

Additionally, voting for the "Moves Like Jakker" crowd favorite award is now open In This Thread. Anyone any can vote here for their favorite submission!

As discussed in the handbook, we have four (4) awards to hand out here: 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, and the "Moves Like Jakker" Crowd Favorite Award. The vote here was pretty close, so here goes -

Congratulations for Albion for winning the host slot for the next contest! After much feedback, RaiderVision 2017 will likely be tacked on to the main RaiderCon event in July, so be ready to come back and hear the lovely voices of NS in just seven months!

There was actually a tie for the fan favorite award, but in the spirit of the event, I've decided to make an executive vote in favor the the song that didn't win the whole thing and spread the love a bit <3. As such, 2016's "Moves Like Jakker" Fan Favorite Award goes too....

RaiderCon is an annual event held in July that celebrates the past, present, and future of raiding in NationStates. This convention first took place in 2015 to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of The Black Hawks. Players across NationStates come together to engage in discussions, games, and more. RaiderCon has daily programs that examine raiding from various angles. In addition, attendees will be able to participate in raid games and discussions.

RAIDERVISION

Before RaiderCon, players will able to experience the opening act of RaiderVision. Hosted this year by Albion, this event invites creative, musical performances to be submitted and voted upon. Submissions will open in June and voting will take place during RaiderCon. The winners will be announced at the conclusion of RaiderCon. Check out the announcement from Albion with more information on dates and participation instructions.

RAIDING MUSEUM: SEEKING DONATIONS

Within the RaiderCon forum, the Raiding Museum houses historical documents of raids, organizations, and essays. Each year, the museum grows with more resources. Raiding history must be preserved and the museum serves to help with that. Attendees are strongly encouraged to submit documents to the museum, which will open on July 1st.
