He's from XKI, Tano. They practically breed that mentality into their residents.

TITO rule #7 expressly states "No Fraternization with the enemy", the enemy being defined as Raiders and those XKI's leadership designate as having "raider tendencies". Violations of this rule are punishable by banning. This rule and others like it serve to distance and separate the XKI population from "undesirables" and act as the first step in dehumanizing TITO's enemies.

It also makes their followers near fanatics by default.

Also, while programming will not be extended beyond tomorrow, RaiderCon will be extended to July 10th. This will provide attendees extra time to discuss the various topics going on and for the HoF judges to have the time to properly discuss and vote on the inductees for this year.

Oh hey, this one's my fault!

Way back in the day I got my start in XKI. At the time I was really eager to help out and be involved, which apparently seemed to mean I was a spy. I eventually started chatting with a guy from DEN, and eventually they caught wind of that relationship and I was in a lot of trouble. I was told to stop, and the rule was created. I didn't stop and ended up getting kicked out for sharing info with the guy, which only served to justify the existence of the rule.

Thank you to all who participated in RaiderCon 2016. We had great conversations and a lot of fun. I want to sincerely apologize that I did not have the time to give as much as I could to the festivities. With that said, you all still made this year a success. Even with the failed raid attempt at the beginning of RaiderCon, dozens of players came together in unison.

Last year, RaiderCon sought to break new grounds. This year, RaiderCon sought to show the full story of raiding. For me, RaiderCon 2016 reaffirmed the community that raiding has and really reminded me of how proud I am to be a raider. For a while, I did not think that RaiderCon would happen this year, but I am so thankful that we all pulled it off. It was a blast.

*As a note, the inductees to this year's class of the Raiding Hall of Fame are still in the process of being voted upon. I will make the announcement once everything is finalized.
