Balderfest
21st - 27th May 2018

It is our pleasure to announce Balderfest, a week long celebration of our region's people and culture! It's right here on the forums: http://w11.zetaboards.com/Balder/forum/6011522/

We wanted an excuse to bring people together, get people talking and, well, we just wanted an excuse to throw a bit of a party! Alongside the usual spam and chit-chat, we'll be hosting a number of events and activities over the festival, including:

Balder's first Hockey Tournament - The Solorni Cup
A Hockey based Role play, players will join a team and play Balder's national sport in an attempt to win the tournament, and the honour of raising the Solorni cup!

The Balderfest Market
Bustling with stalls and shops gathered to celebrate (and profit from) the festival, what better place than to see what Balder has on offer!

The Balderfest Bulletin
Not only a home for articles, it's a place to write anything! The Bulletin will also be hosting a couple of competitions - The Balder Bad Joke Corner, where cheesy jokes rule! The person who makes us groan the most wins. And the Riddle Room, prizes for the hardest riddle, and for the person who solves it!

Are... are we even reading the same GP forum? I thought something like 75% of this joint was about the years-long grudges.

Stating that you couped Balder Luxembourg is simply a statement of fact. It was not much of a coup and I think lasted less than 24 hours. Your delegacy was 28 days and the region had up until that point existed for about 33-34 days. My experience and beliefs regarding Balder were shaped largely by external coups. I had witnessed the devastation upon communities in our fellow Game Created Regions. My first real experience with the GCRs was when I helped defend TSP during the coup by Sedge and that was following the destruction of one of the UCRs I had been part of by a founder who despised the direction the region had taken. Being able to ensure that we do not have a second coup has been one of my main goals.

I do not hold any sort of grudge against you Lux. It would have been cool for Balder to be able to say we've never had a coup before. But your coup technically negates that and is an interesting fact which is why I brought it up. I do not think anyone today actually holds a serious grudge against you for your coup. It was an odd quirk of history that I honestly cannot fully remember anyhow.

So no grudge, I just think it's a fun fact and I mean you no disrespect with it Lux.
