Ladies and Gentlemen, it's that time again - (actually, a bit past time, but we had a few hitches along the way)...

The Defender Awards, 2015 edition!

Nominations will be accepted on the FRA forums, http://s7.zetaboards.com/FRA/forum/3036388/

Voting will be via the usual hodgepodge of methods, with details on voting given in the Contest area. As usual, votes will be accepted via NS, FRA forum, and various other defender organizational forums.

On the 18th of March, 2015 - nominations will open in the following Categories:

The Ananke Award - for best spotter of invasions
The Anarchotopia Award - for the organization best at PREVENTING invasions
The Sir Lans Award - for the person most dedicate to update missions
The Operation of the Year
The Best Newcomer(s) Award - two awards, for organization and individual
The Best Defender Mentor Award - new category this year, for which I expect much competition.
The Worst Invasion Award - from the Defender perspective
The Blackbird Award - for the "best" Invader group
The Worst Invader Group Award
The Best Defender Quote
The Meltdown of the Year Award
The Can't We All Just Get Along Award - fro promotion of defender solidarity
The Lifetime Achievement Award for Dedication to Defending

Nominations will remain open for 2 weeks. A nomination must be seconded and need not be accepted.
After a short time to confirm nominations and post the ballots, voting will then be open for two weeks, after which results shall be announced. We therefore expect the awards ceremony to be during the third week of April, 2015.

The Lifetime Achievement Award for Dedication to Defending: Unibot, though I doubt he hasn't been nominated yet.
The Worst Invasion Award: Madrigal. The most pointless raid of 2015 so far, and one of the most ironic as it was conducted by a 'defender' group.
I also nominate said 'fendas, the Grey Wardens, for the Worst Raiding award.

The Can't We All Just Get Along Award - Ima legit nominate Sev for this one, I've seen him do a lot to push for people working together. And he's always friendly to both sides. I considered XOr too but for me the person I think of when I hear this title is really first and foremost Sev.
