Ahhh, I see - nice backpeddle. And we have a cool name now, awesome - cept I prefer 'the Core', if you're going to refer to us as some evil mastermind group. In either case Brother Cormac, don't forget who has taken part in all our so-called actions for the last... what, four years? You've been intricately tied with us since you became active in Osiris. How many coups have you perpetuated there, exactly? I think I count three, but I haven't been around for the entire history of Osiris.

You've been involved in more coups than we have - by a significant amount. Still, who am I to complain? I think I'm done playing into your hypocrisy now, and I've gotten my Gameplay forum fix for the next year. Cheers!

*chuckles*

Edit: Oops, missed Eli. Yea, you and the durned PRP/Merit peeps. How I disliked you for a while there. </ADN> :P

I believe the only people who have ever accused me of being an "Empire Spy/Stooge/Etc." in TSP are yourself and Unibot, and typically during an election cycle.

And do I need to remind you, Glen, that Unibot's multiple court cases against me all resulted in near immediate dismissals or failure due to either a total lack of proof or the "evidence" being discovered to be an outright fabrication? My record in TSP is clean, even if you don't like it.

Cormac, you're about as "unpredictable" as a pendulum.

It swings far left, then it swings far right, then it goes back the other way. Back and forth, back and forth until it runs out of steam and just sort of hangs around in the center for a while before being restarted. You're confusing motion for volatility.

3: Dali and I didn't do anything but talk to Sedge about TSP; we were in discussion to take over from him, but then he went and got power crazy. We ended up outing him and CG to the TRR Government instead, without having lifted one finger to help him in TSP. The logs of all contact are still on TRRs board, last I looked. We were kicked from the region for breaking TRR law regarding secrets et al, not because we had taken part in the coup.

This is chalk full of hilarious falsehoods. As you say, the Empire was in discussions to take over for Sedge in TSP - and when he didn't pass power to Wham's puppet (Goblins something), you guys took a tantrum and outed him with the hopes of using that information to weaken Sedge and Crazygirl's political standing in TRR over the delegate, Nai (your ally.)

Instead, you made a boneheaded miscalculation: Nai took a serious political blow for overseeing the publication of a TSP statement that in retrospect she had known was riddled with falsehoods and Sedgistan went on to win TRR Delegate Elections (with the support of people who had opposed him in TSP) because TRR wanted to remain a defender region and Sedge was the only status quo candidate.

The truth is you tried to get control of TSP, plans fell through, so you tried to make use of that event to get control of TRR and you blew it big time (and accomplished the reverse of what you were trying to do.) It was one of the sloppiest maneuvers the Empire ever made and it grossly underestimated TRR. Today both TSP and TRR are democratic and relatively free of Empire interference as a direct result of you and your fellow colleagues' string of failures in 2011.

I participated in purging all of you from Osiris in December 2013 and had nothing further to do with you until 2016, when I made the extremely poor decision to let you back into Osiris' government because I believed you had changed. Some song and dance lies about how the only reason you behaved the way you did in 2012-13 was because of real life circumstances, and not because that's just who you are in NationStates. I shouldn't have fallen for that, but I did, and now Empire has Osiris and is using it as a platform to make trouble in other Feeders and Sinkers. That is the extent of my involvement in your "actions" for the past four years -- playing the part of the duped moron who gave you a Sinker.

This attempt to smear me is just retaliation for exposing what you're actually up to, an attempt to deflect attention from how Neo Kervoskia is using his position in Osiris to go after other Feeders and Sinkers against the wishes of his own government, and what Dalimbar is doing in TEP by ingratiating himself with the Delegate, pushing the GCR Sovereignty Accords, and running for high office.

This is 100% true if one ignores the fact I spent about a year in TSP, ran in only one election, and participated in SPSF off and on again during the majority of that time.

Speaking of which, remember when you, Unibot, tried to subvert TNP into becoming a Defender region and shortly thereafter the UDL was caught spying on its military? Remember when you tried the same "Defender" plan in TEP when your actions in TNP failed? Remember when you supported the NPO when they coup'd in Lazarus, the first time, because they were making the region defender?

Also a fun fact, I had personally run at least three successful missions, announced at least one of them on the forums, and Glen is the number one producer of Alternative Facts in The South Pacific.

Heyo. Summoned by the magical sound of people saying SPSF. Can confirm that Wolf did participate in at least 3 missions, and at least one of them was posted on the forums. I do know his activity ceased afterwords, but since I was his replacement and not his superior at the time, I cannot speak to why that happened, and I'm not gonna pretend to know more than anyone else on the topic.

I ran three successful missions while taking a shit one time, true fact. I'm not entirely sure 'three successful missions before going MIA' should be the standard that TSP expect from their generals.

  • UDL was not caught spying on NPA. It was not caught because it wasn't spying.
  • Yes, I do remember pushing for a defender TNP as cabinet minister.
  • Yes, I do remember the Defender Act in TEP. I'm not entirely sure why you would think I would want to see TNP as defender as cabinet minister and not want to see TEP as defender. I've been entirely consistent in expressing my belief that being a defender region is a good thing.
  • I would have supported Lazarus' decision to create the PRL whether it had gone defender or not. It was a decision for natives to make and they made it. No coup occurred.

And none of this has to do with you being (1) an impressively incompetent public official in pretty much every region you've dicked around in, (2) Belschaft being caught redhanded collaborating with the Empire in the South Pacific. It's almost as if you're trying to turn the channel.... oh wait, yes you are. Cheers.

NeeNee and Biyah both tried coups of some sort in TRR during the months after Kandarin handed his nation to Naivetry. I don't know quite what their motivations were, since the Empire group was always close to Naivetry, and she was aware of the identities of both. I would guess it would be rallying support behind her against the "external" threats, since there was a lot of ill-will regarding the handover of the delegacy.

Biyah, Dali and Wham were involved in my coup of TSP; not from the start - they're not people I would have chosen to bring on board. However, it was pretty obvious that Devonitians was me, and they worked it out quicker than anyone else. Once they realised I had no intention of holding the region for myself and just wanted anyone but Southern Bellz to get the delegacy (well, or Fudgetopia), they brought in support for me so that GreenGremlins (Wham) could try to take the delegacy. Once that failed, they took the obvious step of trying for TRR again and attempting to undermine me there (with equally obvious results).

Ironically, when Wham was later delegate of TRR, I think he was involved in repairing relations with TSP, which had still been frosty as a result of my coup.

I don't think I've talked much about the Devonitians coup (aside from to myself), but it's been six years now, so there's no point keeping anyone's secrets.

That's an interesting read to say the least. Perhaps most interesting of all is how many events it's predicted:

- Aelitia, backing an Empire member, is currently in a power struggle with Todd McCloud.
- Balder hasn't been couped, but Osiris is now controlled by the Empire and is playing the middle man between Balder, TWP, and NPO.
- Hileville eventually couped and the fallout returned Belschaft to a position where he could collaborate with the Empire.
- Lazarus has been seeing a stream of new entries for some time now of dubious repute.
- TRR has basically remained untouched politically by the Empire, except Yuno in government. And oh look, Sedge has posted explaining how the Empire failed to conquer TRR.
