Oh, trust me; the full logs make this whole thing even more blatantly absurd. The extent of my "service" to Empire consisted of me repeatedly reminding NK that I wasn't in government and pointing him in the direction of DM, and giving my personal opinion on a couple of things. Which the CRS can verify any time they like, as I've offered them access to my discord account.

Interestingly, the section of the logs that Cormac has included in his article isn't even the complete version of what the CRS had and which are available on discord - he's cut out most of the conversation, including the parts where I make fun of NK and talk about random BS.

Edit: The most common topic of conversation for me and NK was actually the fact that Cormac kept banning me from Osiris' discord server due to my "hostility" to the region, which is really amusing now that he's accusing me of having been an agent for that regions Delegate in that time period. I've always loved irony.

Nobody in TSP's court will be laughing. Bel could and probably should face a boat load of charges: he's full out soliciting espionage and cooperating with an organized group in those logs. The Criminal Code is quite clear that this behaviour is not allowed from members, especially not with prohibited groups that have already been deemed security risks (i.e., The Empire.)

I'm cited neither as a security risk nor was I indicted. Nor am I a member of a prohibited group. I wrote most of TSP's criminal law for bloody sake. I don't think it should come as a surprise that I talk to TSP members - Glen-Rhodes has always been a close friend, RL and NS, prior to us joining Gameplay even - but nobody is spying for me in TSP or pushing my case in TSP and that's fine by me.

On several occasions I directed him to the appropriate government official who he would need to talk to. I strongly contest the suggestion that this constitutes "collaborating" with the Empire, or the idea that it is in any way illegal under TSP law. As such, I have offered to cooperate fully with the CRS in this matter - I would say I have offered all reasonable cooperation, but I have actually gone further than this and offered unreasonable cooperation which the CRS would never have any grounds to request, had I not freely made the offer on my own instigation.

The CRS may or may not determine you're a security risk (given you've already been found to be one in the past, then couped, then did this), but the Criminal Justice system is a different stream than the security-administrative stream and I would expect to see charges laid.

The cases for espionage and organized crime are obvious and straightforward:

The High Court could also see you as having had the intention of corruption in seeking the MoFA position. The High Court would have to consider whether clear and probable intention is enough of a standard for the Criminal Code.

You could also face a charge related to treason, if a convincing case is made that the Empire as a prohibited group and a known aggressor towards TSP is an "entity in which the Coalition is taking defensive action against, or any entity in which a state of war exists with," (the language of which, gives both sides of that particular case great latitude.)

All in all, I would expect the book to be thrown at you. Two charges possessing a strong case (Espionage, organized crime) and two requiring more persuasion (Treason, Corruption.)

This is where I am disappointed in this article. You provide nothing new, Cormac. You provide nothing really that shocking. Under your watch, the watch of your predecessors including myself, and under the watch of your successor, Osiris appears to be concerned about how people perceive it, and NK appears to be acting in such a way which is similar to how we all acted as Pharaoh at one point or another. You and I know we have had similar conversations with outsiders. So, to claim that it's just him is... I honestly dunno, naive? Stupid? Ignorant?

I do not recall a single occasion while I was Pharaoh in which I asked a citizen of the South Pacific to spy on or subvert the South Pacific, or otherwise deployed anyone to spy on or subvert the South Pacific. The dealings between Osiris and the South Pacific while I was Pharaoh went through official channels and were usually public, such as termination of embassies between the two regions.

If you have evidence to suggest I attempted spying or subversion against the South Pacific during my term as Pharaoh, I suggest you present it. Otherwise you are just flinging out accusations hoping they will stick, while we have actual logs of Neo Kervoskia doing it.

My name was greyed out in your official documentation -- which I've already saved in my own records, so don't bother trying to change it -- to indicate my renunciation of affiliation with the Rahl family, which occurred in November. It is not my fault, nor my problem, if you refuse to remove my name from your family roster. But for the record, and for all of the public to see: I renounce any affiliation with the Rahl family, including our marriage (which was basically just a gag compared to other NS marriages), and I have not considered myself affiliated with the Rahl family nor been involved in its Discord server since first renouncing affiliation with the Rahl family in November 2016.
