Does leaving your region reset your "influence" stat?

I'm referring to the one under "Analysis", not the rankings of Hermit, Minnow, Powerbroker, etc.

As far I know, it will not. But it may decrease over time if I am right.
PACIFICA STAND STRONG

"The only war that matters is the war of the Feederite Class against the Userite. UCR Organizations and Cabals that befoul GCR with their presence, disguised as ruling elite within them, must be removed and their power must be broken. This is the ultimate imperative of the Revolutionaries true to the GCR and the Pacifics, which have nothing to lose but the chains from Userite oppression."

It will for the new region. Your influence in your previous region will decrease over time. In your new region, you must start from scratch

Your influence decreases once you are no longer in the region you acquired it.

If you CTE, your influence will be lost in every region except the one you CTE'd in.

Not quite correct.

More accurate. The technical term is "decay". A given region's decay rate will stop if you move back to that region. Of course, your new/old region's influence will then start to decay.

I'm not sure whether this is true or not.

In GCRs, your influence will decay after six months depending on how many endorsements you have in the World Assembly. I think that you can have a maximum of 60 spdr without endorsements in the GCRs. That way it encourages people to keep active and maintain endorsements.

Your influence is wiped if you CTE, if I remember correctly, regardless of the type of region.

See here:
Tweaking Influence
by Max Barry
Thu, 03 Feb 2011

Two minor adjustments to Regional Influence:

When a nation ceases to exist due to inactivity and is later resurrected, its Regional Influence drops as if it had spend that period of time outside the region. (Previously, resurrected nations had the same amount of Influence as when they ceased to exist.)

Nations that haven't logged in for at least a week do not gain Regional Influence. (Previously, all nations gained Regional Influence regardless.)
Your Regional Influence determines how easily your Regional Delegate may eject you from your region, or, for Delegates, how easily you may eject other nations. (More about Influence.)

Thanks to everyone who participated in the discussion that prompted this change!

Yes, this is true. On top of the items Sedgistan quoted above. Note this also means at time of CTE a nation loses all trophies in regions other than the one it CTEs in.

The reason for this rule is that we don't want nations who were banned from a region to use CTE + removal from the banlist as a means to get back into said region where it may be difficult to ban them again if a high cost was paid to ban them in the first place. Note it is perfectly ok to use this rule strategically: ejecting an opponent who is about to CTE, who thus CTE's in TRR (or pretending to be close to CTE, just so your opponent wastes influence in an attempt to remove your own influence... the knife cuts both ways).
