On the other note: Through RP and just sheer patience. You can name your nations stuff before actually getting the edit bars for it. That is what I do. There are several forums for different purposes. Diplomacy subforums are the wrong ones for asking how to play the game.

Well, first you find the box this game was packaged in, then open it and refer to the Game manual for reference.

Just kidding, try reading the About section and the FAQ section to the left under your nation name. And I agree, this thread requires moving.

although there is "a" game, that's the issues and all that,
and somehow that ties into being more or less realistic in your roll play.

The line you're after is the one called "Government Budget" -- that's how much money your government can play with. There's also an exchange rate, GDP, all sorts of stuff.

Bear in mind thirdgeek is only an indicative guide, and there are several, all equally valid. Some countries don't use them at all.

Otherwise, the game is really like writing a story, only with several authors.

Wait until a funding issue or something like that comes up. Also, chnage to 2 issues per day.

you can't, that's the beauty of it,you have to be patience and answear issues related to army or other stuff...
