Except in General and Forum 7, it's not common for threads in this forum to sit unanswered for more than half an hour.

As for the question, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. Is it worthwhile for what? Are you asking if it's worth joining?

Is it worthwhile joining, being in, participating in? I want to see the views of everyone.

I have a strong belief that the fact that so many nations are not in the WA SIMPLY TO BYPASS A RESOLUTION, that eventually they will outnumber the WA itself!

But what do you think?

I voted for the second option. I like the WA, but it can't be said to run the game, since so many people ignore it/don't participate in it. There's no way that the WA would ever be dominated by nations who want to just vote down all the resolutions - its been tried in the past, and did not succeed.

The WA is weak. Soon it will fall to the power of Old Tyrannia!

I'd rather be subject to my own decisions for this nation.

I don't think it's useful. But it's not useless, either.

It's just not for me...And the 'By force if necessary' part of the security council forums tends to rub me the wrong way.

It provides an interesting aspect of the game, although there is little reason for most nations to be in it, except for the off chance that you actually end up making a difference, which for most nations, is a laughable idea. And with the new(ish) security council actions, it now has the potential to have effect even outside of its member nations. In particular the Liberate function, which balances up the game so well nobody can have any complaints about invaders being too unstoppable.
