I am confused on how to increase government spending. My friends and I use nationstates as the platform for an rpg and I want to increase my overall government spending. I have increased taxes but spending has remained roughly the same. When I looked at numbers, I realized it depends on the portion of the economy that is government. How do I increase this? Raising taxes hasn't affected this number very much.

I'm really happy to see support from seasoned players with the diversity of experiences we can all offer new people. As I see it, we were all new at one point. If we didn't have a mentor, we could have benefited from one. Making sure the ambitious new players have solid support will hopefully elevate the level we all play the game on.

i denied bribary from our local industry and my state was the name a socialist. even tho all i did was outlaw bribery .

Your nation must have been near the line between two different categories, and that issue pushed you over the line.

You should know better, NSA - size bbcode doesn't work in WFE's

E War, I think what you're seeing is the names of pinned dispatches, technically below the WFE, but they can appear to be a part of it. You can pin dispatches to a WFE in regional controls.

Aim to let your people have as much say as possible in the political process.
Let them do whatever they like, however stupid. (The interpretation in some issues is not consistent on this, though)

Joining the WA in and of itself has no effect, but when WA resolutions are passed they may have (usually small) effects on your national freedoms.

How many did you send- the success rates are really low, and it will be harder to recruit the first few than any others.
