It's been in collapse since day one and isn't getting any better

If you wish to have a capitalist economy, pretty much just choose any issue option that cuts regulations or the like.

I am part of a region with a couple friends, and we have no clue what all the roles are, so I am here to ask: What are all the roles that can be assigned by the founder or governor? (I don't know who assigns roles) I am sorry if this is a stupid question with an obvious answer.

In a Frontier, only the Delegate can assign regional officers (ROs). In a non-Frontier (colloquially known as a "Stronghold"), only the Governor can assign ROs, although if they have said that the delegate is executive, the Delegate can also assign ROs.

An RO can be given any name, so long as that name doesn't feature wording like "Governor" and is otherwise compliant with the rules of NationStates.

A full list of authorities that can be given to ROs is available from your Regional Administration page.

RO names like "Security Officer" are built into the game; your Governor (or Delegate) can give any resident of your region any RO title and give them any authorities.

This is not a recruitment thread. If you have specific questions you'd like advice on ask them here, but asking people to join your region should only be done in your regions thread, and the find a region megathread (but only there if your region matches the criteria of the person hoping to find a region).

Ignoring the recruitment OSI already addressed, My genuine advice is just to join an established raider org. They'll teach you, and you'll get practice, and then once you're experienced enough you can try branching out on your own. You're unlikely to convince experienced raiders, who are usually already in orgs and committed to them, to come over and join you.

One big question I always had since I started playing NS is why industries, although they have each a different index, are all "worth" something on the scale of 10k to 100k of your national currency. Does it stand for billions worth of your currency? Or there is a specific formula to use to understand how much it is actually worth? Thanks already to whoever answer me, and have a great day

I don't believe that it's possible with the Socialism policy. You can have State-Owned companies under a Capitalist economy (like mine), but not the other way around. If you wanted to have a mixture of State-Owned industry and Private industry your best bet would be to switch to a capitalist economy but regulate it as much as possible.

What effect does removing courts n lawyers have on a nation? Does it lower freedom n rights or adds to them while increasing crime? I've lowered crime in my nation quite a bit over the time I don't wanna increase it but I'm also quite curious about effect removing court would have since I already removed prison and that's worked out fine.

On a quick read, I spotted two things:

1) COO andr CRO are mentioned, but not defined. "another regional offocer" might allow more flexibilty in any case.

2) "(who are not themselves)" seems clumsy and unneccessary, since shareholders must be WA members.

It'll grow over time. I've been around for nearly two years and the descriptions say I'm "massive".
