You can have as many nations as you like, and place them in either one region or spread out across multiple. So long as you don't have 2 nations in the World Assembly, you're good.

Unless one or more of those regions themselves has and tries to enforce a one-nation-here-per-player rule, for example by requiring WA membership as proof of individuality, anyhows...

Issues

Postby South Taroust » Sun Dec 31, 2017 6:45 pm

I played this game a while ago and I wrote an issue and I wish to do so again and I am not sure how to go about it so I was wondering if last time my ability to submit an issue was a limited time matter or If I just can’t find out where to start.

If you have an issue idea, I would post it on the Got Issues subforum here to get feedback before submitting: viewforum.php?f=13

There are also guides on writing issues, a good starting point is here: viewtopic.php?p=32581707&sid=e06c4f38474eda73bba6b2abb8c447a9#p32581707

Good luck!

Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a way to replace officers from their appointed regional offices without abolishing the entire office. For example, if a region has an officer responsible for Border Control, and someone else is elected to fill in, it would be most convenient for me to just switch them out instead of having to dismiss the entire office and having to wait a certain period of time before being able to reestablish the office. I hope you'll understand what I'm trying to say, English isn't my native language. x]

As far as I'm aware, there is no mechanic in place for switching people, but as you have been delegate for 26 days you should be able to instantly appoint the new officer. The "appoint on every 26 hours" is a running total, not a count from when you last appointed one.

Hey guys, I just wanted to check that the resolutions passed by the world assembly don't have any direct effect on nation's in the WA like issues do. Are the WA resolutions just for role play or does it actually change the laws and stats of the nation's involved? Thanks. :)

If you are in the World Assembly then general assembly resolutions do have a small effect on your nations stats, just not as big as the issues you answer.

Hello, I've been wondering how I get endorsements? and how they help in the game? Probably a silly question but I'd love some advice on that. :)

You get endorsements when other players endorse you. Many players, especially in large regions, are willing to "endoswap", they endorse you if you endorse them.
Effects of endorsements include:
Once you have at least 2 endorsements you can submit a world assembly proposal (though you should draft it on the forums before submitting)
The more endorsements you have, the faster you gain influence.
Whoever has the most endorsements in a region becomes the world assembly delegate.
If you are the world assembly delegate, your vote in the world assembly counts for 1+your number of endorsements.

How can I build a tourism industry? I already have lots of tourists but no significant tourism industry.

Also how do I reestablish my judiciary. :P

Just wait for an issue with a choice which implies that the courts are involved, and pick that option.

Our region's founder has ceased to exist without having granted executive authority to any officers, all of whom have fled the region but for myself. Is this region effectively dead in the water? I don't think a founder can be removed or replaced.

Technically, you can refound a region, but that practice takes time. But no, a founderless region is certainly not "dead" Just look at Hell it's one of the most successful regions in the game without a founder. Several regions that have worked out well actually do not have a founder at all. The delegate now is the one in your region with executive authority.

As said above, this is not the end of the region. The delegate now has executive authority, plus since you have border control, it is possible for you to lock and refound the region yourself, though that can be difficult and risky.

Thanks for the feedback. So all we need is a delegate. Well, I can always try to recruit one.

I apologize in advance if this is a silly question but where is the forum section where regions advertise for new members? I've been quite inactive for a long time so where should I go look for regions to join?

The Gameplay forum (The one you are in) is the place.

Influence is kinda like your "power" in a region. If you have border control authority in your region you can use it to eject and ban nations, or to set a password on the region to keep people from entering.
Also, the more influence you have in a region, the more influence it will take someone else to eject and/or ban you from the region.
Influence rules do not apply to founders, they can take border control actions without spending any influence.
Influence increases naturally over time, and gathers faster the more WA endorsements you have.

Also, it is far easier to gain influence in a small region. But ultimately it means little. It simply indicates you've been in a region for a time.

Not quite. It's actually easier to gather influence in a larger region, as there are more WAs that can endorse you. The word descriptors of influence aren't the raw figure of influence you have, but instead the amount of influence in the region compared to how much influence every person in the region put together has.
As always, I'm representing myself.
