Can someone please tell me what the acronym tags mean that you can categorize your region into? I am finding it hard to attract like-minded nations.

F7er = for regions with people from Forum 7, the spam subforum here on NS
FT = Future tech
FTL = Faster Than Light
FTLi = Faster Than Light Inhibited (some limits to FTL travel)
STL = Slower Than Light
P2TM = Portal To The Multiverse, a roleplay subforum here on NS. Similar use to F7er

I'm not 100% sure if this is too general a question or not, but how would I become more involved in either regional politics or more serious gameplay related things (the second part's pretty vague I know)? I know there's a link containing stuff about what you can do on NS when you're beginner to intermediate or something, but I'd like to do more than just post in Forum 7. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of fun to do! I just kind of want to branch out and see what else NS has to offer really.

So basically (sorry for the wall of text), how to you become known to the leaders of a region? Or failing that, how can you build a region from scratch? Does this kind of thing take a big time commitment?

I hope this isn't too much to ask in one post!

To get more involved in region things, find a region that does those things and get involved! Regional stuff doesn’t happen much on the forums. Becoming a leader in an existing region takes time and dedication, but is a fun and rewarding experience. You can start a new region, but it requires a massive time commitment, and usually requires knowledge on how the game works. I would recommend joining an established region that looks interesting and learn from the people in it before attempting to start your own region.

That's the first list I've seen, policies are still a very new thing, so while it was probably thought of you might be the first person to actually do it.

The issue to unlock it will eventually come up again, if you turned it down the issue is added to the pool that your nation will randomly get. It might take awhile, but if you keep answering issues the option will come up again.

Apparently you can vote on stuff, endorse people you like for delegate and even take over regions (I heard).

A class region should be set up specifically as such from the start. See https://www.nationstates.net/page=educators for details.

Once the region is registered, there is a special like for creating nations within the class (again, see above link).

I am a fairly new nation, and am a member of the World Assembly. My biggest question, as an un-endorsed nation, what can i do? I know That I can vote, but that is all that I can do. Do I just have to wait until I grow my nation, or is there something I can do? Anything is helpful. Thank you!

Endorse other nations in the region and they’ll give you endos back. But otherwise, you can only vote. With two endos you can submit bills, but please draft them on the General Assembly forum before submitting.

Of course, you can also be flexible in your WA nation and raid or defend...

You can have as many nations as you like, and place them in either one region or spread out across multiple. So long as you don't have 2 nations in the World Assembly, you're good.
